It looks nice but I've no idea how you pronounce it?

meditrina · 14/06/2013 21:29

It probably works in French, but if you're in an Anglo-phone country, it'll become "male" and I don't think that's good.

IvanaCake · 14/06/2013 21:33

Its lovely but no one will know how to pronounce it.

Layl77 · 14/06/2013 21:35

May-Elle is closest in English.

I thought May-elle but seem to be generally good at working out how an unfamiliar name should be pronounced (a god send in my job!) - however as other have said people reading it as "male" and pronouncing as such might prove to be a problem.

bugsybill · 14/06/2013 23:48

Sorry I think of male too.

How about

Yael
Maeve
Mabel
Belle

bugsybill · 14/06/2013 23:49

Or

May Ellen
May Elin
