for the secound time??She was Lila but I didn't like when people prounanced it in two ways or didn't know how to prounance it so we've changed it to Lilia and then I red on this forum that Lilia was a sanitry towel in 70ties..Do you think that people will still remember it? Is it better to change it again to Lila or Lily or maybe Liliana?? I need your advice as I feel so confused with her name..

Love Lillia. Not keen on Lila. Know someone who has used this-often gets called Lilo! How about Lola?

No don't change it. I like you had never heard of lillia towels before the other day. no one is going to make that association now. the don't even exist anymore.

Do you think no one should name their baby George because its the clothing brand at Asda or zara because its a car?

I think Lilia is lovely. I prefer Lila, but that is kind of irrelevant.

Lila could easily be short for Lilia so I would say leave it as it is.

I remember my son recognising his own name by that age (while I was considering changing it!)

And I'd never heard of Lilia towels...

It's lovely. I only remembered the sanitary towel make when you pointed it out. I'd never have thought about it. They've not been around for ages and I bet most people under 40 probably won't even know about it at all.

Lilia is a gorgeous name. Never heard of those sanitary towels from 30 years ago! People will always think of ridiculous reasons not to give a child any name.

I have heard of the towels but would never have made a connection with the name if somebody hadn't pointed it out. If you are going to change it then I'd say Lily was the best option. But nothing wrong with Lilia. It seems a perfectly nice name.

Never heard of Lilia towels. I also prefer Lila but just choose a name you like and stick with it.

If you pronounce it lil-ee-ah, then go for lilia, but if you pronounce it Lie-Laa
then spell it Lila,

I know a teenage Lillia and she is divine, never made any negative name association with it. Go for it!
