Yes to Tokyo Story and Mulholland Drive. Both of them blew my mind when I watched them as a teenager. Profound isn’t a word that springs to mind when thinking about Forrest Gulp though!

Profound is quite hard I’m sure I’m forgetting some

Short Term 12 in a children’s home amazing acting and made me cry a lot

Fanthorpe I remembered Whistle Down the Wind from when I was a child (it was filmed near where my grandmother lived at the time). I saw it again earlier this year and now realise how much imagery there is that had passed me by when I was younger. I agree, it is a very profound film.
