My husband had meningitis and yellow fever vaccinations today as he’s going abroad
Silly question: can I kiss him properly today and tomorrow? Is there a chance I’d get sick?

You'll be fine. I'm not a doctor but medical related field.

I think you need to shag him and report back if you develop any symptoms.

They are both dead vaccines. No risk from exchange of saliva (or any other bodily fluids)

You'll be fine. Neither are live vaccines 😊
Even if they were the perceived risk of particles shedding would be very low.

Sorry, that's 50% fluent bollocks (yellow fever is live attenuated)

But unless he has been warned to refrain from contact, you're fine

(warnings used to be given within the old oral polio, which could be passed on, and they're taking a highly precautionary approach with the sniff flu)

Apologies - yellow fever is live but you're still ok to kiss hubby 😊

Do you really think they would give out these vaccines without warning if there was any chance that kissing could start a yellow fever outbreak? Maybe practice challenging some of your anxieties with realistic alternatives

Shrink wrap... ok a bit harsh. I do worry.
