Sorry I didn't know where to post but..

Found this out when my friend and I came home pissed and I watched her fly some in the toaster in awe. How have I never known this?
Toasted once on defrost, once on normal. Took 4 minutes. I feel like my life has been completely changed. Grin

Well bugger me, I didn't know that.

My husband makes sandwiches with frozen bread. By the time he eats them they're defrosted and the chicken or whatever stays cool. Blew my head clean orf.

Haha I toast everything I can in the toaster. Potato cakes, waffles, teacakes, crumpets. Grin

It's brilliant isn't it? I discovered it a few months ago when a friend told me. I like mind crunchy she put them through three times.

Can't do Findus Crispy Pancakes in a toaster though (as my DP discovered some years ago...)

The other great thing about frozen sandwiches is that the butter doesn't tear the bread.

Potato waffles in the toaster are amazing.

I used to do this as a student. Potato waffle sandwich with ketchup was a regular post pub favourite.

Yes but don't make ham rolls with frozen bread rolls to go with tomato soup on a long walk on a slightly snowy and very cold day in february for your family who are desperately hungry...

I do this most mornings for DS's breakfast. I also do fish fingers in the toaster.

If you have a toaster bag you can do fish fingers in the toaster - it's revolutionised my husband's life!

Heat up sandwich press, split a bagel in half, scramble an egg in a cup, and split the egg between the two bagel holes. It's like an actual meal, in about three minutes.

They make a great post-pub drinking snack because you aren't going to burn the house down if you fall asleep. Not that that's relevant to me any more.. But....

So share the idea with teenage/20's children living at home!
