Just that really.... I presume that's in inches, ergo my fiancé (m) and I (f) wear the same size.

AIBU to be weirded out by this realisation?

I was over the bloody moon when I started fitting onto dh's jeans, stones and stones off!

You need to test all the pairs and compare and contrast the differences now. Get going!

Me and ex had this. They fit at different bits though

The size is the same but the fit is different.

My brother and I used to wear the same size trousers.

And had the same with an ex.

I have now realised that my ex and my brother therefore wore the same size trousers, and this seems weirder to me than having been able to swap jeans with either my brother or my ex.

Interesting...so do your hips get in the way of wearing his jeans?

DH and I both wear a 31" leg.

I'm 5ft 1" and he's 5ft 11" Confused

Maw me and DH wear the same leg - I am 5'1 and he is 6'1 !

(he must have a very long body or mine is very short!)

Glad I'm not the only one Sanity !

I have proportionally long legs (although they don't look it, boo) and also have ape like arms! I think my wingspan is only a couple of centimetres shorter than his. Very useful for reaching high shelves Smile

Interesting...so do your hips get in the way of wearing his jeans?

I just tried on a pair of 34" mens jeans and the waistband gapes at the back. Other than that, the fit wasn't at all bad Grin

Do you really wear a 36" men's?

Is that leg or waist?

Report
blinkowl · 17/06/2016 06:32

I am really too fat for a 36 waist men's. My stomach is huge. People think I am pregnant and I get offered seats on trains.

My DP and I share shoes 😂😂. We're both a size 5 lol.

Me and DH wear size seven shoes, we don't, he wears size 12.

I have a 26" waist, 36 leg

He has a 28 waist, a 34" leg.

don't they have a sort of empty bollocky bit round the crotch area?

When I met DH he wore 28 jeans & I wore 29 or 30. I wear 27 or 28 now with 32" legs. He's gone up to 34s.

I have a 30 waist and am curvy pear shaped with a huge ass and 5'3". DH wears a 32 waist and is 6'3". I have no hope of getting my gigantic ass and stumpy legs into his jeans!

I used to have this with my first boyfriend - and yes the fit is different but I didn't have much in the way of hips, either then or now. I have had one of those "straight up, straight down" bodies - now it bulges in the middle but I still don't have a "hippy" figure. IN fact the last time I went shopping for jeans, I got the complete arse with the new skinny leg fashion (don't care if it's not that new, it's new to me and I hate them) and the shop assistant suggested I try the men's jeans. Which I did, they were fine, but too baggy in the arse area for my liking (probably to accommodate my waist size!) No problem around the hips though.

DH and I are same height but his legs are a good five inches shorter than mine! He has got a bit tubby but tells me he was a 28 in college, which is what I take. I doubt man jeans would go over my hips. I did try his underpants once though because I thought they looked comfy - they were! There should be a market for lady trunks and boxers.

Floppity there are lady's boxers! Keep an eye out for Puma underwear, they make a women's stretchy cotton boxer with a nice firm waist band.

I'm not sure of DPs waist size for jeans because he measures the size by wrapping the waist round his neck! His waist is tiny...he came over from work without a change of clothes and ended up wearing DS's shorts. DS is 11.

Mine were too big. Hmm

I think it's hard to compare waistband sizes, for many men they fit below where their stomachs start to bulge out. There is no correlation between the waistband and the measurement around the actual waist.

I am going to try on a pair of OH's jeans now. He wears a 34/34 BTW.
