Just curious to know what people do with their face and hair on a day to day basis! Does it differ if you are SAHM or WAHM ( or not a mum at all) ? For those who do, how important is it to you, i.e. you cant leave the house without some make up on?

I don't put make up on and usually just have a messy bun or plait my hair. But would like to make more of an effort with my appearance. (SAHM by the way).

Reverse wash hair every morning, throw in some mousse, 90% ruffle dry then finish with the Babyliss Big Hair

Hot cloth cleanse and acid toner morning and night, then serum in the day and moisturiser at night.

Tinted moisturiser, cream blush and mascara everyday. Get eyebrows threaded and tinted fortnightly, tinted lipgloss in my bag.

That's it. Was the same while on mat leave as now I'm back at work

Soap and water, hair gets brushed and tied back.

Wasn't any different when I was working from home (I now work in the office).

Morning

quick cleanse
moisturise
bio oil on scars
sun screen
foundation
powder
eye shadow
eye liner

Hair straightened every other day, washed twice a week.

Evening

cleanse
exfoliate
toner
Spot treatment
moisturise
bio oil on scars

Eyebrows currently look shit as I am growing them so I can get them shaped properly.

I will pop to the shops without make up on happily enough but I always put make up on when doing the school run or going anywhere else where I will need to speak to people.

I wash and condition my hair every morning, even though it's very short it needs it, bottle bottle and straightened.

Cleanse and apply serum, Hydralauron then moisturise.

Wear a face of make up; foundation, eyeliner, mascara and some bronzer then spray with a fixing spray so it stays put all day.

At night; take it all off with balm and apply a stronger serum as well as the other stuff from the morning.

I work every all week but would feel bare without make up.

I use ultrabland cleanser as well.

Amazing stuff! Found it a few weeks ago and I will never use a different cleanser again.

For work: wash hair every night, give the ends a wee bit of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse when dry then put it in a top knot before bed. Give it a dry shampoo in the morning. I tend to just leave it down in waves or chuck it up in a messy bun. Cleanse with Ren hot cloth cleanser and moisturise with Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. Clinique CC cream, cheapo Rimmel eyebrow pencil, Laura Mercier mascara and eye caviar stick thing, Darphin blusher, Burt's Bees lip crayon.

If I'm at home or not going anywhere special at the weekend, I just cleanse and moisturise and that's it.

Um. Hair in a pony tail. Shower & wash hair daily. Moisturise my face if I remember.
Shave legs if I remember.

When I went out to work I used eye make-up daily.

If I'm going out (not just to the shops)
Bath, Hair wash, blow dry and straighten. Tidy up nails, clear polish.
Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, mineral foundation. Some lip salve (don't like the feeling of lipstick) spritz of perfume and that's it.

I've just realised I don't do much sticking things on type stuff but do lots of things like hand creams, vitamins, drink lots of water. I wear a foundation, one coat of mascara and blush if I can be arsed. I don't even dry my hair anymore. So lazy Blush

Mum to 2 year old and 17 day old.

Shower and hair wash every other day. Strip down wash on days I don't have a shower.

No make up bit I do cleanse with Simple and put some e45 cream on.

Clean clothes and underwear daily (clothes more often if baby throws up on me)

Am bf'ing so very limited in what I can wear at the moment. Mainly leggings, vest top and cardigan.

My beauty regime has always been very minimal, even when I had more time and was a size 8 (pre-kids) I was never massively into clothes and grooming!

Mine is pretty extensive but will try to condense it:

I throw water on my face and then dry with a towel.

The skincare element differs depending on how broke I am (right now I'm on the cheap stuff) and how much time I have but here's how it goes:

Hot cloth cleanse with ponds cold cream in the morning.

Assess state of skin and use either concealer (if I have spots), or concealer and foundation (if I'm blotchy and spotty) or just face powder (If I'm shiny).

Put on blusher

Fuss with fringe, then decide to clip it back anyway. Arrange hair in non complicated style.

If I want to look particularly good that day, I will put on some gel liner and possibly eyeshadow.

Nighttime, remove makeup with Garnier Micellar Water.

I wash my hair every few days, probably use conditioner about 50% of the time.

I give myself a pedicure every 2 weeks ish and file my nails as and when needed.

If I have enough money (i.e. prior to having a child) I use Dr Haushka products on my face, the range for combination skin suits me. It is truly amazing stuff!

I shower & wash my hair every day.

I wear make up every day - sometimes just foundation & blusher if I'm nit doing much but if heading up town or sthing I'll do my eyes up. I use bare minerals ready foundation which I can put on super quick, it's a real life saver.

Fake tan every week.

Wax every 6 weeks.

On maternity leave but the above is pretty standard regardless. I sometimes treat myself to gel nails.

I just use face wash & moisturiser every morning & night, could do with developing a proper routine but it's getting the time & £ to find a system that works!

I love dermalogica pre cleaves when doing facials at home,
