RoC - sunscreen for eczema???

My Ds suffers from patches of eczema on his face and wrists and random patches elsewhere, its not as severe as some but even so it does make him scratch when it gets a bit sore. This time of year is a nightmare and with the weather being so good this week we have been in the garden alot. Trouble is that all suncreams I have tried just make him more blotchy. I have used to date E45, sunsense toddler milk and Nivea, all have caused a reaction. All are suitable for sensitive and skins with eczema but still have caused probs. All are spf50, and I am not sure if this is creating a problem in itself. I am sure I read somewhere that the higher the factor the more it blocks the pores creating another problem. All the creams I have tired I took advice from this site....our doctors are rubbish and just wont help. I have read that RoC do a cream, but I need to know where to buy, the name and a rough idea of cost! I know it is probably expensive, but I just don't know what else to do, and nursery are quite strict and they need him to attend with a hat and cream (rightly so) but I just need some more help. YOu can buy it in Boots..I think it is about £12 a bottle - it's the only one that suits my daughters skin (she has eczema too)

Is it one specific for kids or adults? Is it a really high factor...just wondering if its available on the net?

I actually can't remember as I haven't used it since last year... I think it was about factor 20 or 30, wasn't specifically for children! You can get different factors.

Tesco own brand sensitive SPF30 (cheap as chips too!) has been best for DC1 who has reacted to Nivea, L'oreal, Boots Soltan etc. Need to try it on DC2 whose skin is much worse - glad to have an alternative if he reacts to Tesco as he seems to react to everything else! Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Hi Piz Buin do a specific one for allergies - it is about £15 but 2 for 1 in boots right now so you could try that.
