Whattdo, thanks, I went and checked my snorlax who has been languishing away on 1800, realised I had a load of snorlax candy so powered it up, dont know why I never battled it before but it's a pretty useful one now.
Anyone know why my Pokémon are being returned from gyms with their favourite star unstarred?

Did it have good IVs? Otherwise even with high CP it would be a waste to power it up.

Snorlax are really for defending, not attacking. Also, if you ever do raid battles, never use Snorlax or Blissey; it means others have to carry you along because you'll be in the battle for ages (lots of hit points) but be doing little to no damage.

It's a known glitch Niantic is working on.

You really shouldn't be using Blissey in raid battles. It's great for you because of all its hit points, but their poor attack stat means they do little damage and it means it's a burden on the group.

It's a low CP one but it was nice to finally see and catch a wild one. Also grabbed a Mareep which will go towards powering up my best Ampharos (96% iv)

True, but they are giving everyone an extra premier ball to catch with to make up for it!

If you go with the automatic raid line up then it will put Blissey and Chancey in there. That is why I put mine into gyms and didn't revive them when they came home, that way they can't get picked as part of the second team when I don't have the time to deselect them.

Apple will refund Pokecoins bought recently if you explain that the purchase was for Premium Raid passes but there was a bug that meant the last ball wouldn't catch the boss.

I think if you ask for a pokecoin refund Niantic take the coins back even if you've already spent them, someone in my last raid group had -1000 coins!

Nice shiney new thread and great title. I'm loving the game since the legendary raids started. I've met so many nice people and new people at work. I work in a hospital and have about four gyms around me and Andre of us meet up regularly now st lunchtime for a legendary raid at one of them. I am also part of a group on the line app that you can ask and see where everyone is going and at what time. It's great fun all meeting up and I've never done so many steps on my Fitbit as these last few weeks.

I also live and work in a town with unowns and kangaskan so can now spell europe with my unowns and have loads of kangas. One hopped across my desk today.

Gyms can be in two different states one where a raid is happening. Usually has a raid boss and timer above it. These are various levels from one to five. Level 1 and maybe two you can do on your own level three and above you need more people with you at the same time to battle the raid boss. For this you need a raid pass which you get one free everyday and can buy premium passes with coins. You fight the boss and hopefully win and then you can try and catch him with the premium balls you get after a raid

Other state is when a gym is a colour. If it's the same colour as your team you can add a Pokemon to it (6 fit in at once) and when he returns to you you get coins.

If it is another teams colour you can battle it just like the old gym system.

You can now spin gyms to get raid passes and pokeballs and potions

You have to spin a gym to get raid passes. Try googling raids and loads of videos will come up showing you what to do
