Wish we went for something more classic and free-flowing. I find her first name hard to say (this is a relatively new and recent thing), partner and I chose this and it was always a name we liked. However, depending on where you're from, you might drop a letter in it and make it sound like an entirely different name (like I sometimes do). I have never felt right about her middle name Skye but her older siblings collectively chose that name for her and it is a nice name and does have Scottish roots which I like - my family are Scottish. Both first and middle names are very nature-inspired. When we first registered her, I hated the two names together and since I've been up and down but never shifted the general dislike overall. I feel so guilty. There's probably not a lot I can do now and her middle name will barely be used but I feel both names are generally quite cutesy and possibly not what she may like when she's older. Has anyone else felt like this? Why have I waited 3 years? 😢
