I thought Morris was brill in last nights episode, when he stood up and said what he thought of the new surgeon to his face. The best thing Morris had done.

But none of 'em are a patch on Dr Ross and Nurse Hathaway... those were the days.

Carter dated a long leggedy blonde once - she had been a patient though, iirc. Was she a pharmaceutical rep or an insurance person or somesuch?

And Dr Ross dated an older woman who was addicted to painkillers...also a patient, I think.

He has a lazy eye. He was born that way.

Have not seen Last King yet but honestly don't remember noticing it before expat. Good to know at least he's not had a stroke or Bells Palsy in RL though

I haven't seen that yet - I didn't remember it from other films I've seen of his. It must be him, then.

he was supposed to play Sawyer in 'Lost' but turned it down to make a film.

i first saw him when he played a British soldier in 'The Crying Game'.

And have you noticed how quick the seasons go by

No wonder the ER is always full, they all have hyperthermia

I loved the Crying Game but don't remember his lazy eye in that. He is a fine actor

My mum said he gave a really nice acceptance speech at the Oscars.

He's a really versatile actor and also a producer and director as well.

Smugness has diminished a little since Carter finally cleared off though I think FIS. That plot strand where Noah Wyle took it upon himself to tell us about Darfur got right up my nose tbh

I like the way neela physically jumps on her men - she did it with her whatshisname husband and again with the horribly unattractive Gates.

Don't remember FW in The Crying Game (good film) but am most impressed that he is a vegetarian .

oh marina, that was just awful wasn't it - I just couldn't watch that AT all!

I just don't think the story lines are as sharp as they used to be - maybe it's because we just don't care enough about the characters yet

I mean I really couldn't care about the whole Ray/Neela/Gates thing and even the Curtis Ames/Luka thing is a bit tedious now.

I quite like the Dubenko character (and the other weird surgery bloke).
