Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Neela with that surgeon, Dubenko. I don't like Gates at all and suspect taht he will not be around for that long as a character. Unless the writers do something with Ray I think he will go the same way. He never DOES anything. He has had no decent storylines, one about his band and another where he boinked a teenager. I originally thought that Ray and Neela would either have a rebound shag and then never speak again, but now she's with Tony that's out of the picture.

I can still see them together, but this season the writers seem to have completely abolished their friendship so don't see how this will come about. Am just glad Gallant is out of the way. That was a sham marriage if ever I saw one.

That's what ER does with babies. I have been surprised that little Joseph has been touted around as much as he has. Though he is cute.

They are around for a bit (longer if premature, which almost all of thenm are) and then we never see them again. It's always been this way in ER.

Oh yes. Fred Ward character will turn out to be Abby's dad - so nothing to do with Ames. He will turn out to have been stalking Kovac and will have further involvement there (after all, you don't employ an actor of FW's standing for his role to just fade out).

Weaver will leave to become huge medical tv star and have new relationship with producer - where is Henry though??? He never seems to be around these days.

Gates will turn out to be the father of his friend's widow's daughter, which will be a complete turn-off for Neela who will shag Ray senseless.
