I've been too - good service but I was soooo disappointed that I went in a 34C and emerged.... a 34C!

Went to the one at Westfield, alot less intimidating than the Knightsbridge one imo.

I went there for my wedding underwear and ended up spending £300!!

I was wearing a 38DD bra and came out with two 36G's!! Their services is exceptional and they know what they are doing, be warned though, they want to see you topless, so if your shy be ready and they don't measure, they do it from eye! I wasn't bothered about it because the bra's I got were so comfortable!

Go you won't regret it!

Yep scroobius - that's what happened to me.

Went in wearing a 38B and came out wearing a 36D.

Was M&S though - evidently they don't get it wrong every.....single.....time

I've never felt more comfortable in a bra. All my clothes fit so much better and I can do a 9 hour shift at work without so much as readjusting a strap!

I would recomend to anyone that you try bra's in a smaller back size, and go up in the cup.

thats the prob with most fittings.

like you did captianpig

34a
32b
30c

see the pattern? those cup sizes above are all actually the same size wire/amountof room in the cup. it's the bandwidth thats changed.

Mm thereistheball those big pointy exocet boobs are the worst I am going to bravissimmo thats convinced me!

I loathe R+P. Last time I went to the Knightsbridge branch I was sneered at by the lady who took my appointment and the shop stank of damp. I have left the Mayfair branch in tears, twice. If you have big boobs they will try to put you in some Fort-Knox arrangement that my gran would have worn in skin coloured nylon with straps 2 inches thick and pointy cups. Never going back. Bravissimo all the way.

Everyone is right though, getting fitted properly makes all the difference.

purplepeony - yes any size, I went in wearing a 34A and came out measuring 30C

Flamesparrow · 14/09/2009 08:07

My sister went in as a 34B, she came originally just to keep me company, but got measured too. Came out all chirpy with much larger sizing and knowledge of her "full" norks

Report
purplepeony · 13/09/2009 20:33

R&P is so tempting, but do they really just specialise in large norks? would there be any point anyone like me going for a 32 B/C? ( ??? marks as always come out with different sizes at M&S!)

deaddei · 13/09/2009 20:32

can't wait1
I reckon I'm a 36dd ish and want them hoiked up so there's more space between them and waist!
I shall report back.

Oh that sounds great! I dread the pointy 1950s pin up look i have seen on makeover shows

Report
ihatethecold · 13/09/2009 17:45

they are not pointy but they are in a higher place, your clothes will fit better and you will get your waist back

Report
noddyholder · 13/09/2009 17:40

Are they really pointy when in the right place or do they have any natural looking ones?

Report
ihatethecold · 13/09/2009 17:39

you will lose a stone in weight just by hoiking your boobs up to the right place.

Report
Flamesparrow · 13/09/2009 16:34

Oh with the whole tight back thing - I would say "firm and in place" rather than tight iyswim.

Report
noddyholder · 13/09/2009 16:32

are the bras really tight?

Report
MmeProf · 13/09/2009 16:28

Yes, I have been. It was amazing. I came out with a completely different bra size.

Report
Flamesparrow · 13/09/2009 16:25

Been twice - first time incredible, second rushed and no good.

Firsttimer7259 · 13/09/2009 16:24

I could not recommend R & P enough. It wsa a complete revelation. I know one OP is sceptical abot wearing a tighter back measurement cos siome shop girl told her to, but I really do think in this case the shop grl knows what shes doing.

All my clothes etc fit better since I figured out what a proper bra on me is supposed to look like. And you get used to it..the bras break in etc

They show you how to 'drop' your boobs into the bra too! instead of the stuffing them in which i have always done

Report
ClaireDeLoon · 13/09/2009 15:36

Been to both them and Bravissimo and prefer Bravissimo, much bigger range of makes. They used to sell R&P stuff in Bravissimo but they don't these days.

Report
scroobiuspirate · 13/09/2009 15:30

they will just offer you something plain by fantasie, which you can get in most dept strores anyway, they don't do many plain bras, they can't make enough money on them!!
