Thank you for tracking down the dress @longtompot. I've been married for years and not in the market for a wedding dress, but I've just spent a happy half hour browsing dresses.

@Clueless1980 and @XingMing How lovely for the dress shop to help her out like that. It was as if it was made for her, absolutely perfect. I agree @Bleepbloopblarp that it looks better on her than the model.

@Littleshortcake I wonder if the River Thames photo was taken on a different day as a 'photoshoot' for the story, as the bride isn't wearing her dress and strappy sandals, but what looks to be white scrubs and trainers.

They were on the radio this morning. I was half asleep and thought she got married in white scrubs (duh). The sounded lovely and the photos look like they defiantly had a wedding to remember!

Apparently, she bought three dresses online... one didn't arrive in time, another was damaged and there was a different problem with the third, so she was lent one by a shop which took pity and helped out! It was on R4 this morning.
