Any autumns around?

I've done a search but it's a bit tricky with so many threads about autumn fashion!

There used to be quite an active thread for autumns so I wondered if anyone is still around :)

Silverstreaks I have the Sainsbury's teal jumper with pockets too. It's very comfortable.

@silverstreaks I have that thermal top in black, I bought it last winter and wear it all of the time as a layer.

I'm an Autumn. CMB - deep, soft tones.

I love greens. I have this sweatshirt which is now reduced. I love it and always get compliments when I wear it. I shall be digging it out for tmrw lol.

I'm a rich autumn leaf in HOC which I think is pretty spot on. Leafy colours are definitely my best.

I've bought quite a bit in Sainsburys lately
This Check Shirt which is really rich and a multitude of colours IRL , a double zip denim skirt tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Mid-Denim-Zipped-Denim-Skirt/134004373-MidDenim?searchTerm=denim%20skirt:newArrivals&searchProduct=true, a long fishtail shape ochre edge to edge cardigan and a lovely teal cotton jumper with two pockets on the front (because anything with pockets is a bonus).

I also bought a Pink thermal top, admittedly not stylish and not strictly my colour but its slightly spangly and its starting to get nippy.

Thanks fleur, I will take a look at those

@TheCatFromOuterSpace both John Lewis own brand and La Redoute have a knee length and midi length tan cord skirt respectively.

I had my style consultation a couple of weeks ago. To be honest it was pretty pointless. I was hoping for a style personality like the HoC ones. But she just asked what styles we liked to wear then gave us really generic advice from laminated sheets, like the sort of thing you read in magazines. Lots of it wasn't even for our body shapes etc. I was quite disappointed, but at least it wasn't too expensive. I might get the HoC style consultation another time.

Mustard tights would be great. I'll have to get to H&M. Thanks for the tip :)

Sorry, I've only seen mini skirts.

thereisnorinbath sounds like a bargain :)

Found some nice tights in h&m: m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0201219012.html they also had them in burgundy / mustard yellow.

I'm on the look out for a corduroy skirt in a rust or tan colour, I have seen a few around but they are all quite short - has anyone seen any which are about knee length?

Anybody else got the Primark chenille jumpers? £10 each, the mustard yellow and tan and are good colours for us. So snuggly!

Thank you for the very sensible advice. Yes, it’s a modern-day moral dilemma. The jumper was bought via a discount website which is currently sitting on £150 of my money and not planning on delivering my items for 4 weeks. Even though they were meant to have been delivered within a few days of mid september. Hence, I’m still thinking about what I’ll do.
Anyone get exasperated by Arket?
I ordered a brown slouchy cashmere jumper in the sale on Tuesday. I’m meant to get it within 2-3 days. But I don’t think it’s in stock as it’s not been ‘authorised’ yet by Arket even though the money on PayPal has been reserved. It’s not available on the website any more either. Refunds take forever at Arket too but, I do love the quality of the fabrics. However I’m beginning to wish I’d ordered the H&M slouchy Cashmere as ordering there is both efficient and meticulous.

Teta I think I would wait a while, then donate one to a women's refuge or similar.

Oh god Teta - moral dilemma! I think I’d fess up - karma and all that. Also you might get to try the cream one on as well and choose as per your preference...?

I have a issue!
I ordered a cream cashmere jumper online from a brand I like and have ordered from before. I received a very pale pink one instead times 2. The pale pink almost looks cream so that isn’t too much of a issue but do I fess up! Or do I return one and see if they will realise their mistake?

Thanks so much for this thread by the way - it has made me think about the colours which suit me much more. I have noticed that I have lots of navy blue and grey in my wardrobe which both make me look old and crap in comparison.

Sainsbury's have these, tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Burgundy-Knitted-Cable-Tights/134120817-DarkRed, they say burgundy but look quite red on my screen.

Exciting news on the new look trousers - I went into a store and tried them on, they only had them in a different colour, but I surprisingly found that I need the long length, which meant that I could order the rust ones online as they did have a size 12 in long. I will report back when they arrive.

I also popped into h&m and they had lots of mustard and rust coloured things. Unfortunately I couldn't browse because the toddler had started to lose the plot.

Sainsbury's sometimes have nice coloured tights. I got some rust ones a while back, though they were in a mixed pack with black ones.

Cat have you looked in Next? They have a few. There's these rust skinny zip trousers. And a few in teal, ochre, khaki etc. Those New Look ones are lovely. Hopefully your size will come back in stock soon.

Has anyone got any good recommendations for opaque tights online? I want to order some brown and navy tights but M&S/Next have a pretty dismal selection.

I'm a blue autumn leaf according to HOC. I tend to stick within my colour palette, but I do find it hard finding clothes I actually like in a suitable colour. I find prints quite hard too, as there is often a colour included that isn't an autumn shade.

I quite fancy a teal cord skirt for the winter - I have seen a couple on websites but i wondered if anyone had bought something similar recently they can recommend?

I bought some coated Merlot or raisin ( not sure what name they’re called) skinny’s by Nydj from BrandAlley. I really like the colour and fit but did size up a bit.

The anthropologie ones look lovely, massdebate, but a bit out of budget unfortunately
