Mine is super early this year, I got a great one last year from this board. Personally I prefer sleeves (not a fan of my arms)
Seen anything good?

It's my Christmas party day!!

Kicking myself. I had a 50% off top from coast in my Amazon basket and forgot about it and now it's full price. Can't justify it at full price, as it's a bit too 'Christmas party' to wear any other time.

I've got a huge selection from Asos coming this week.

I've ordered a selection from phase eight. However after seeing them referred to as for the over 40s I'm now doubting myself! Think my favourite is the Orlena ombre sequin dress however having second thoughts as it's pricy and it's probably too sparkly to wear throughout the year?

I think it looks lovely on you!!!

Amazon have 50% off coast dresses as one of their deals of the day today.

@trixymalixy so glad you like yours - I wish I did! It does nothing for me and I'm sending it back.

I'm not a shoe person so I was going to wear these (below) - just plain black going out ish shoes!

My monsoon lace dress arrived today and it's much nicer on than I remembered. I'm delighted with it! Just need some shoes now. Any suggestions?

Gah, the Topshop navy sparkle dress is VERY short. I’m going to try going up to a size 12 to see if it’s any more decent.
Shame they don’t do a Tall version as the regular one must be designed for someone several inches shorter than me (5’8).

I wouldn't normally pick a dress let alone a bodycon.... i went shopping with my brutal friend!!

Apparently i have a lovely figure buried in poorly fitting clothes.....!!

So wish me luck in pulling this off!

I bought this and this yesterday. Should pick one but I can’t so I’m keeping them both! I do have a number of Christmas drinks/awards coming up so it’s ok really! Grin

Need some pointy courts now

Spent a whole day shopping yesterday and came back with nothing! Sad

Cold shoulders, frills, glitter or pleats on endless repeat!

I've got this dress from Joanie from last year. Only wore it once with family so it's getting another outing when I go 'out' out. I'm dearly wishing it was still possible to get Anello & Davide character shoes with the button closure as in my head they'd be perfect with it.

Lobster don't worry, I'm in Scotland!

I also tried on that beautiful navy velvet ted baker dress, but even with the 30% off I couldn't justify it.

I've ordered this black jumpsuit which I'll bling up. Gone for something cheap and that I'll be able to wear on more casual nights out as fed up of buying a beautiful dress and wearing it once a year.

trixy I did exactly the same with that Monsoon dress and collected it in store this afternoon. Hope the three of us aren't going to the same party in Kent ..

I went to try on this monsoon dress that someone linked to upthread.

Loved it but decided £120 was just too much. When I got home I had another look at it and it was down to £70!! Was meant to be!

Oh I saw that Whistles dress in store! Didn’t try it on but it does look lovely.

The Zara dress is a great dress. Annoying it didn’t suit my generousHmm hips. It’s great to see someone buy it - I can live vicariously through you!!

Loving the links. I finally decided to give in and go quite festive and bought this New Look top. It’s a cheapie and not too OTT but I thought it would be fine for my sparkly Christmas night. Plan on wearing it with wide leg high waisted trousers, fancy shoes. The eighties called and want their fashion back...

I just bought this from whistles. It’s gorgeous, and has an elastic waist for stuffing your face on canapés.
