Serum before or after?

So I've started using nip and fab face wash, dragons blood pads and the dragons blood serum. But my pixi glow tonic has arrived today and I'm confused about where I fit this is. Is it after the serum or before?

I did take what you said onboard @Bleurghghghgh I bought the dragons blood rather than the other pads/serum as you said it was better for spot tone skin.

Ooh: buy cheap white face cloths for double cleansing, with pretty hot water, if you can (Ikea seem best for purchasing them). Most effective way of getting everything off. I've got ten, and simply bung them in with the washing, as and when I need.

I know we did Blush but I can't find the thread and the whole serum thing has thrown me combined with the pixi glow.

Oil is, bizarrely, quite good for oily skin. I know. It's a contradiction in terms. Look at The Ordinary range by Deciem. It's top banana and cheap enough that if something doesn't work for you, it's not a big waste of money. As you're skin is oily, lean towards water based creams; a good one is Laneige Sleeping Mask. Lasts ages too. If you use both the dragons pads and pixi, you're acid cleansing twice which will strip your skin: not good at all. That can damage your skin mantle, and it takes months to get it back. If you've never acid cleansed (some call it 'cleanse', some call it acid tone; it's the same thing. Try not to get confused) before, I'd recommend starting twice a week, then three, then four.. etc working up to seven days. Your skin can react if you go too fast, too soon. It is great, though. It gives you a real glow.
Cleansing: double cleanse as in clean your face twice, with whatever you really like, at night. I use a cleansing balm followed by A'kin (fab, and vegan!) cleansing milk. No need to go pricey. Good luck! Feel free to pm with anything else. Sounds like you have a very similar skin to mine. Mine's glowing and fab (at the moment), but I do follow this routine pretty religiously.

Ok thanks that's brilliant (see genuinely clueless Grin). I will try and get into a pattern of alternative days. I'm ok to use serum every day though and after the pads/pixi?

Because both are acid toners and that will be way too harsh for your skin! One only. Dragons blood is an AHA i think (sacyclic) - better for spots, blocked pores etc. You can use every other day or every day if your skin can take it.
Pixi is a BHA - better for ageing. Use 2 or 3 times a week. Do them on different days. Depends how sensitive your skin is, but dont go mad.

Good grief Confused I need to buy more products. Why not pads and pixi (novice sorry)? Genuinely I have no idea but I'm 32 now and have never taken any of this too seriously Blush. In the few days I've been using the nip and fab I've noticed a difference so want to get this right. What do I need? I've got the face washing stuff, the pads (dragons blood) the pixi tonic, the dragons blood serum and a moisturiser. I've got open pores and spot prone cream so a little dubious of oil. I'm ok for wrinkles, diet is fine I'm a vegan who only drinks (5 litres a day) water ever.

Double cleanse, acid tone (dragon pads or Pixi, not both!), spray toner (the liquid mists you can get for your face and neck), active liquid (Luna, or the line, or any retinoids, AHA's), serum, eye cream, moisturiser and oil. Phew. It's a lot, isn't it? Bloody works, though. Wink

I think it goes - cleanse, then acid tone (either dragons blood pads or pixi glow tonic), then the serum and then a moisturiser.
