Bear in mind that my office is very casual.

Only if you work somewhere creative/media, and only if you are significantly shorter than the model, IMO.

MardyGrave · 24/06/2016 21:24

It's not my cup of tea.

I've seen nice leather skirts but there's something off about it, maybe the length.

MardyGrave · 24/06/2016 21:26

Plus it looks really cheap, like boohoo.com for a 19 year old having a night out on the town price range disposable fashion.

Would never believe it was $200.

meowli · 24/06/2016 21:29

I could never wear it (not got the figure!), but I like the look of it, and don't think it would be inappropriate in a casual office setting.

Summerdiamond · 24/06/2016 21:32

With a denim or chambray shirt for a casual office I think so

SansaryaAgain · 24/06/2016 21:32

I bought it second hand so it only cost £12. I am about the height of the model and always wear high heels so maybe it's not best for the office. I was planning on wearing it with a tie neck blouse tucked in.

I work in a very corporate environment - it would be seen as a bit Hmm.

IWannaHoldYourHand · 24/06/2016 21:59

Leather/pleather skirts are one of the few things banned from my very casual office, on the basis of kink Confused

Agadooo · 24/06/2016 22:08

Really nice skirt but definitely not with bare legs n high heels to work-maybe with coloued tights though.

AmberNectarine · 24/06/2016 22:33

where I work is v. corporate and staid. I wear a leather pencil skirt occasionally, but never anything this length (especially leather).

SansaryaAgain · 25/06/2016 07:43

I actually don't think it's that short, and have worn skirts about that length to work before. But not leather ones!

Are you a tiny, quirky, edgy person with cool hair ?

If not it I think it might look like you're trying to be sexy at work.

I'd save it for going out ?

CurlsLDN · 25/06/2016 07:51

I do work in a creative/media office, and it would be fine where I work, but would be worn with flat shoes and a casual grey Tshirt or fine knit - definitely nothing with a low neck or straps

LucyFotheringay · 25/06/2016 07:57

Not with heels, too tarty. And it makes the model look rather wide across the hips Confused

SueTrinder · 25/06/2016 08:01

I'm a scientist for a large pharma and we officially have a smart casual dress code. That skirt would be absolutely fine but I'd never wear it like the model, I'd wear it with opaque tights, flat shoes and a jumper.

Liiinoo · 25/06/2016 08:11

It would be lovely with flats but with heels it's a bit much for an office environment.

seaviewplease · 25/06/2016 08:17

Yes, wear it but probably only in winter with boots/flats, tights and a jumper or blouse. Too heavy and dark for summer unless you have fabulous tanned, slim legs (prob under age of 35) and will wear it confidently Wink

SansaryaAgain · 25/06/2016 08:22

This is the blouse I was planning on teaming it with http://cdna.lystit.com/photos/2012/06/20/french-connection-brown-brown-leopard-print-chiffon-fierce-feline-sleeveless-tie-neck-blouse-product-1-3969137-246940740largeflex.jpeg

But maybe best saved for an evening out. I think with tights in winter is prob the best way to wear it for work.

Your link doesn't work, is it this one?

www.frenchconnection.com/product/woman-old-season/72fg6/fierce-feline-tie-shirt.htm

Please no, the black leather skirt and sheer leopard print together is not a sophisticated look (in my opinion!) definitely not suitable for even my anything goes office

SansaryaAgain · 25/06/2016 08:43

No not that one, the one I linked to isn't that sheer! I've worn it to work before with jeans but always wear a vest underneath so it isn't revealing.

CurlsLDN · 25/06/2016 09:00

Haha ok, phew!

Marmalade85 · 25/06/2016 09:21

No!

vulgarbunting · 25/06/2016 09:37

Everyone at my work wears that kind of leather skirt. It's almost like a uniform. Totally fine.

FashionLover1 · 27/06/2016 11:15

I don't think it's a good idea.
