impossible beach shoe quest?

Anyone seen anything that will help in my quest? I'm looking for shoes I can wear to and from the beach on holiday. I have lived in Birkies in the past for this but have Achilles' tendon problems so have been told that total flats are out and that a heel strap is best. Also, I don't do toe posts. Budget up to £80 but would prefer cheapish as sand and sea will probably take their toll.
I love a wedge if that helps? WineCake for anyone who can offer any options!

I'd go for something in rubber/plastic, that can be washed easily. Espadrilles and fabric straps will get covered in sun cream, sweat and sand and will be hard to clean.

Have a look at the crocs website, they have tons of shoe options that are nothing like the clogs:

These any good?

They have a tiny wedge heel. They feel very comfy but sadly are too narrow for my hoofs so are going back.

These Adidas QT jellies have an arch support in if that helps. I'm on my second pair which I found on eBay in plain black. They come up small, I have to get a size bigger than my usual shoes.

Yes the ones with a back strap don't have toe posts.

Ooh, will look at all of those. Thanks. Do fit flops come without toe posts? Must admit, had discounted them on that basis ( wanders off to look at website) ...
YY to espadrilles also. Just wanting something that is easy to get in and out of and that dry easily. Cheers for suggestions so far.

Fit flops. They do all rubber ones now that you can get wet.

They do some styles with back straps, possibly not in rubber though.

They are the most comfortable shoes ever. I am addicted to them and find other shoes hard to wear now!
