White Birkenstocks

I am considering buying some white Birkenstock sandals. Can anyone who has a pair of white Birkies (or has had a pair in the past) tell me if they are easy to keep clean? Do the uppers stay white as long as you care for them, or do they tend to go off-white/grey and horrible quickly? Thanks in advance for any help/info!

I've got a pair of white birkenstocks that are now in their second year. I've schlepped around all over the place in them and never cleaned them (I know, lazy) and although they aren't pristine they are recognisably white.

I've got a pair and the worst damage to them has come from sun cream, giving a yellow ish tinge on the edge of the straps. Otherwise no bother.

Yep mine are on their third year and easy to clean with a wet wipe!

And if you're a Birkenstock Virgin don't panic if they're not comfy. They need breaking in but are so worth it

i buy a pair of white Madrid Birkenstocks every third summer
they're easily to keep perfectly clean with spit on a tissue a wet wipe, and they stay bright.

I have the two strap white birkinstocks I bought them last summer when I was pregnant I wore them every day because my feet wouldn't fit in anything else.

They were pretty clean on the white bits but inside were filthy, I threw them in the washing machine on a quick 30 wash and they look brand new!

And yes, they are easy to keep clean of all sorts of bodily fluids

Our tk maxx had loads of white ones today. Nearly bought some but resisted as already have about 4 pairs

I have had some for at leas six years they are fine but the cork has started to crack. They have literally walked around Tuscany. I wipe them down with a baby wipe when they look grubby - the are patent.

On my second year with white birkienstocks with pink soles. Lovely.
Wore them yesterday and have never cleaned them. I have OCD and they passed my test
You will just love them!
