Dry shampoo OMG! I am a convert! I always find the front bits of my hair get yucky really quick, picked up a can of dry shampoo this morning and I love it!

Navy eyeliner. Always thought it was very Princess Di eighties and naff, but it turns out that it makes my hazel-green eyes look really dark green.

How would I chop my own fringe Closer without looking like a bowl cut? lol

And - foundation. I was 30 before I started wearing it, I thought I would look orange and cakey but I just look - better, more healthy! Don't leave the house without it now Grin

Acid toning. I read about it on here for ages before doing it but still the shock at the transformation of my skin!

And yes to dry shampoo. Amazing stuff. I use it just to give my fine hair extra body if I'm doing an updo.

Eyebrow dye. All those years I spent drawing the buggers on!

Burts bees cuticle balm- has rejuvenated my tatty nails. Have to be quite diligent with the application though.

Double cleansing, using a serum, tight lining.

Yy to dry shampoo the garnier one with tapioca is amazing. Less chalky and smells lovely.

My surprise was how much difference switching to a hot cloth cleanser would make to my slightly oily skin. I was using baby wipes and foaming tea tree wash for years -rubbish in comparison now I am using peaches and clean but I forgot it at the caravan and bought simple I think that's probably better. Wipes are crap!

Closer me too. DH declares only "crazy people cut their own hair" which is true in my case but it looks top notch.
I use a basic layer trim on the back, then do a rough "ponytail trim" round my face which I then tidy into decent layers by eye. I finish it with a little bit of a razor comb trim.
I am an old rock chick but it doesn't look too shoddy.

Corn Silk powder. As good as top end HD perfecting powders.

I just started using organic amla powder as a hair treatment and love it. It can be mixed with other oils and powders and has a range of beauty uses which I haven't tried yet.

Grin welcome to the party, better late than never! I've been using Batiste since boarding school in the early 1980s (and no, the packaging hasn't changed).

I'm a latecomer to decent eyeshadow. I was given a Naked palette for Christmas and oh my goodness, I can't imagine using anything else now.

Cutting my own hair - no one believes me when I tell them, and I've had more random compliments on my hair since I went DIY than ever before

I only discovered recently via Sally Hughes that dry shampoo works even better when you spray it on thd night before, great if you have to be up early etc. I've tried it that way and it does work much better.

I second dry shampoo. Also rosewater makes the perfect facial toner and it's so cheap. Sweet almond oil is the best for removing eye make up too.
