Wrinkly and creased body

I'm 41 and as happy as I could possibly be with normal ageing in my face, but the rest of my upper body looks like it needs a good ironing!

My chest has vertical lines running from my neck to my belly and sleeping on my sides at night makes
Me look like scrunched up paper. It really is bad.

Just used mirror to check back of hair out, and my nape is exactly the sameShock

Can I iron my skin please?!?!

I have lines on my chest when I wake up with numb arms but fortunately they drop out after a while. One side of my face is definitely more lined than the other & I always end up sleeping on that side.

I think a wrinkly decolletage can be caused by how you sleep. I wrap my arms across my body and get those bloody lines Sad. I can't stop it as I'm asleep.... and I have sun damaged, sensitive skin too

I'd like to think that - at least I can work on that!

I'm downing a litre of water first thing in the morning now and drink another 2 litres throughout the day (have been making a concerted effort these last few days). I'm off on holidays to France next week so will keep this going there, and of course Factor 50!

Thank you.

I"m not sure, I think it would take a lot more than those incidents to make it that bad, I've grown up with harsh sun and it seems to be those who really get out in it all the time that look weatherbeaten as they get older.
Maybe you're just dehydrated

Peasandlove I remember getting burnt when I was about 10 in Spain (parents out cold and hungover) and I couldn't be bothered to apply cream. I has sunstroke too, if I remember rightly.

I also remember burning my upper body badly in my mid 20's. I was backpacking and has just arrived in India. Went for a walk along the beach and not used to the fierce sun. I was blistered Hmm so I'm certain that my wrinkly chest and neck is down to this (you've reminded me).

I know my sun damage could have led to much, much worse, but my wrinkles are down to that, aren't they? Sad

Try a body cream with 10% urea in it like Eurecin...slap it on every night
Use an ordinary cream in the morning
Your skin should be very much improved in a month
Use SPF 50 on chest, neck, nape etc moving forward

hoboken Sad we are kindred spirits in need of a good ironing!

What's the answer?

Howuch water do you get through in a day? I suspect I don't drink enough - maybe 2litres for me? Also, I never body moisturise - or scrub/loofah/exfoliate. Never have the time!

Sympathy Hex, me too. So glad that I don't like swimming, that I neither have nor want a partner, and that no-one, other than a medic, sees me naked. Currently contemplating buying what used to be called a "body" as I am appearing in a play and will need to change costume in a room where other people will be present.
