Dress me for work please

Ok so I have been telling myself that I'll lose weight and so there's No point buying new clothes, for about 2 years!

I am seriously stuck in a rut. I'm unhappy with my body shape but know that if I dress to embrace it, I'll feel a lot better about myself. (I'm sure because I'll be feeling much better about myself, I'll stop comfort eating and consequently end up losing weight )

So I'm 28. 5"3, 11stone, apple shaped and 34H chest. Size 14-16 .

I am a primary school teacher and tend to wear dresses with leggings. I would like to dress a bit smarter but am conscious of 'smart' trousers not flattering my jelly belly.

I'm conscious of necklines and end up opting for high necklines that do nothing for me, but at least make sure I don't flash any parents or children!

I tend to wear these boring clothes on the weekend too as I can't be bothered anymore.

Before becoming a teacher I used to dress quite well, but I've lost my way.

Please help me find suitable workwear and casual wear too.

My budget is new look rather than net-a-porter!

I've got a wobbly belly and have always found that trousers with no waistband, and that zip at the side, can be more flattering, because they don't seem to cut me in two round the middle (resulting in muffin top ).

Also, I'm quite intrigued by this site, although I've never ordered anything from it myself! But its a bit cheaper than Pepperberry and the clothes are cut to fit a bigger bust. They're not high fashion, but there are some flattering shapes.

Will I not get that little bulge under the trousers? You know from my hanging stomach (the shame)?!

Well, I think the bulge might be unavoidable if that is the shape that you are (its the shape I am!), but it might be a first step to disguising it But with a slightly longer top, it might give a smoother outline?

I should say, that Polish site I linked to also has some horrible stuff, so I'm not by any means recommending the whole lot.

As I say, its got some horrors, but there are some decent shapes there if you have a search. Even one or two casual tops that are just the 'right' shape for you might make you feel a bit more comfortable, less afraid of 'giving the kids an eyeful' so to speak.

I'm struggling to move around the website as its all in Polish. But some of the stuff on there looks good.

There is a little tiny Union flag in the top corner of the screen (on the PC anyway, maybe it doesn't work if you are on your phone) where you can change the whole lot to English.

I find being systematic helps. I iron my clothes on Sunday and put each outfit including jewellery but not shoes on a hanger, so O have a hanger set up for each day. I work front of house in a formal but grubby setting. I preplan my clothes/ shoes/ accessories for the week.

For example today I wore a pair of side zip black straight leg trousers with a crotchet tunic top in black and white and a statement silver necklace and flat black shoes. All m and s
Tomorrow same trousers with a black t shirt French connection, coral cardi and necklace George, same shoes
Wednesday- blue trousers with a blue and coral top same cardi and necklace all George white shoes.
I am sure you get the picture.
I tend to buy whole outfits with 2 tops.
A in store fashion advisor is a good way to start.
