My dd 17 has ehlers danlos syndrome, has a lot of issues in school struggling to cope. wants to go to university but says she wouldnt be able to work a job whilst doing university as its too much and she would have zero energy for anything and said she wants to try and see if being on pip would help as it would also mean shes eligible for accommodations she needs for certain things. on top of all this after seeing a psychologist and the possibility of adhd being brought up 4 years ago and only now being investigated shes screened positive for asd which could explain her high anixiety. is it worth trying to apply to pip? i have heard so many horror stories of some assessorts lying etc. is it worth trying to or is this typically something that causes more stress/trauma than its worth?
thank you in advance
