It’s late and my sons asleep so I can’t scream and use every swear word I know right now so I’ve ended up in here 😡😡😡
my son hasn’t been in education since 21st October due to the school not following his EHCP and resulting in him (not life threatening) self harming in a lesson with no one even noticing. Up until the end of November the school was ADAMANT that I hadn’t raised this with them, until I posted evidence that I had, publicly on social media.
The continued to refuse reasonable adjustments for me to be able to attend the EHCP review we needed to do so we can start the process of change of placement, then went ahead and had the meeting without my knowledge or providing me anything regarding the review. They had the meeting on 15th December and I only received the paperwork 3rd February!!
I have emailed them EVERY DAY since 21st October regarding my sons absence but they’ve now decided that they won’t accept an email and proceed to call me every since morning for me to repeat exactly what I wrote in the email.
before Christmas they made a SS referral and I cooperated with an assessment which was signed off and closed only days before Christmas.
Then yesterday I get ANOTHER call from social services because of ANOTHER referral from the school and they want to assess me AGAIN!!
At this exact moment I don’t know if I’m gonna end up in a prison cell or mental health facility from exploding with anger!!
