watched the national news tonight and they had an article about a Bristol Professor (or some other educational type person) and she is researching AUTISM....looking into diet/pregnancy/birth....and even MMR .
There was a short interview with a mum of 3 boys...twins age 5 and a 3 yr old.....she said something along the lines of that her sons look so normal that when they behave badly onlookers see her as a bad mother......how true!
It was i think for me a great insight for people like my family who are still finding it hard to accept that my son's have autism....the twins on the news tonight were behaving just as mine would if a TV crew were there....and the youngest was walking bare foot along his brio track....and when his name was called he showed no response....
Did anyone else see it/like it etc?
also mentioned they are studying children born in the 90's.....wonder if they'd like me and my brood...seeing as they said the incidence is 1 in 110 kids have autism....and its likely that i have 3 in my home!!!!!
