am never without a bottle of Medised, it's the only thing that seems to work with snotty runny noses.

Phenergan can be quite difficult to get from chemists. Alot of pharmasists don't like people to use it. We used it once for my ds on recommendation of the dr. It worked OK, wasn't fantastic, but gave ds nightmares for several weeks after. Nightmares are listed as a possible side effect.

medised is good for congestion easing and it does sort of quiten them down a bit, we got some more prom pharmacy a couple of weeks ago, no problems
you cannot use it with paracetamol though as it contains it too...

I had one called vallegan which was prescribed and it's excellent. One I was given when ds1 kept coughing was dimotane and that is another that knocks them out. I'm sure I'll be calling on one whilst ds1 has chicken pox so I can get some sleep.
