Yippee!!

Has only been just over three weeks and we have a buyer, and one thats offered us just a few thousand under asking price.
So please please please do not give up if you are tring to sell right now, or have tried without much luck last year.

There is a real postive feel in housing market right now, if anything there is a massive shortage which will not improve soon, which is great news for those investing in property.

Thought I would share the good news, especially to all the doom and gloom merchants suggesting that I should knock 20% or more off the asking price (:

YEAH RIGHT!!!

I rented for 15 months and got a good deal. I think it will be a slow decline over a few years and then stagnation for years.I do take my advice from reputable people tbh and have made a good living renovating houses but still would prefer to see a crash if I'm honest as like you I just can't see how young people will ever even rent! The govt have stalled the crash a few times by introducing silly schemes plus low IRs and silly multiples when borrowing but this is tightening now and I hope this year will see falls.

noddyholder · 26/01/2013 20:36

My agenda pmsl Yes I hope they plummet as they are ridiculously high atm.

rosieposey · 26/01/2013 20:38

Blimey Jane, that's not nice is it? Personally i think something needs to happen with house prices because wages aren't going up and jobs aren't that easy to come by. The market will end up stagnating if people can't afford to buy and it's rapidly going that way.

EIizaDay · 26/01/2013 20:40

OP I'm afraid I don't believe a word you're saying. You have no history here and I remember very well your nastiness on the previous thread. You're a troll. Don't know what your agenda is - are you an EA? an "investor"? You're speaking garbage anyway. "Positive feelings in the housing market" and "desperate people fighting for what is coming on the market" blew your cover.

noddyholder · 26/01/2013 20:42

The thing is when I started renovating the money to be earned was not like what has been seen on tv shows. That was all based on a rising market and silly mortgage offer. People expect to make ££££ but it is like any other asset it can go up or down. It is at the end of the day a home and that is being denied to many many families who are at the mercy of landlords and are never settled. And it will be the same for our children those whose parents have property will get a leg up and those who weren't in a position to buy will never be able to help their kids.It is all very unfair. Everyone deserves a home

mylovelymonster · 26/01/2013 20:44

Good news Noddy. Many happy years & times in your new home x

Heh heh, this has descended in to comedy now. What an odd little character you are @janethewitch. I am having trouble imagining what it is you want or expect from Mumsnet.

noddyholder · 26/01/2013 20:46

oh is it me? I've always wanted pink hair Smile

janethewitch · 26/01/2013 20:48

I think you should all go put your feet up & watch a nice movie on telly with a small sherry and chill out a bit. That kids program - WDY - go switch of the computer & go do something less stressful instead. Right idea.

Whorules · 26/01/2013 20:51

Is that what you're going to do too mylovelymonster?!

mylovelymonster · 26/01/2013 20:54

Yes, I think I will Grin Have had a tough day - 26 kids at a birthday party!

mylovelymonster · 26/01/2013 20:57

I hate seeing everyone squabble - is too stressful. The Uk housing market is a fecking Blush mess, but is very different across the country. Is a very emotive subject because it involves our beloved homes that we work our arses off to provide for our families. Please go and think about something else.

mylovelymonster · 26/01/2013 20:59

Or I will have to start banging some heads together

Wandastartup · 26/01/2013 20:59

I thought trolls had black hair. Is it not gonks with pink hair?

?

RCheshire · 26/01/2013 21:24

Janethewitch, I've not come across anyone like you on the Property forum. I don't for the slightest moment believe Noddy has sent you a threatening PM, as I'm sure you would report it to MNHQ if so.

noddyholder · 26/01/2013 21:27

I absolutely didn't I reported the post where JTW said I had problems and was picking on people as I think it was a personal attack and I sent it to her in error. I have the post in front of me You are getting ridiculous now Ciao

EIizaDay · 26/01/2013 21:27

Janethewitch is making herself look really silly now.

noddyholder · 26/01/2013 21:33

MN have now deleted the posts thanks. Unfortunately I sent my original complaint to JTW in error when it should have gone to MNHQ.I have never threatened anyone in my life
