I would rather put him in nursery liz then I wouldn't have to get along with her. I don't trust her. And after Friday I don't like her. My mum will pay for him to go to nursery on the Monday do she doesn't need to have him but I do t know how I would tell OH so up to now she is still having him. She's supposed to be giving up working Tuesdays from April and I'm suppose to be adding Tuesday to my working week but im not going to now because I want to have him myself.

Poor violet! Do the colds etc bother her?

She's been upset today, well tonight, she's had calpol and went to bed. She was just really unhappy from about 4 ish.i don't know if she's starting to get clingy. You know where they realise that you are actually putting them down?

What you don't today?

We have been to Lincoln shopping. I wanted to get a start on my holiday fancy dress, which is......wait.......where's fucking wally. Did I already tell you that? Anyway, got a red and white stripe vest, primark glasses and blue and white stripe socks and red pumps. Just need blue or red shorts or crops and something red so put in my hair I think. I'm not bothering it's the hat. I don't think I am going to look much like where's wally, but it's going to have to do!! It's going to be roasting

Awww poor violet Liz. Hope she's a bit better today.
Lol at Where's Wally!! Bet you'll all look ace!!!

Weather here been shite. Nipped into town earlier but not done anything all weekend. Nothing has been going on for the jubilee. Gutted I didn't win tickets to the concert. Did you watch it? We thought it was brilliant, except Cheryl, god she's shit!!

All good here, Euans standing for longer on his own. It's very odd tbh!!
Had a bit of a cry at 2am Monday night, he just kept getting up standing (he can get down, he just wouldn't stay there!!) Anyway in the end, arts about 15 mins of him up and down, I walked out and said stuff you, I'm going to bed (which I did feel rotten about). The little buggar got down and went to sleep til 8.15!!!

How's everything with you iwish?

Oooo just made some potato, bean and cheese fritters for Euan. Was stumped on what to do him for tea. Now he won't let me feed him, I can't to his jacket spud with beans and cheese.
So, I grated one medium potato, added 4 tbsp beans, 2tbsp flour, mixed it up split it in 2 and fried off 2 fritters 3 mins either side, bit of cheese on top, voila!!

Must say I had a bit and was lovely :)

Baked beans? Sounds delist!! I still haven't got my appetite back from being I'll. Don't fancy anything either! Went into new look today and tried some shorts on, they were high waisted and thought they would fit cause that sort are usually too fitted for my waist, but they fit lovely!! They were too short so didn't get them, but was nice to have them fit! Oh, size 18, didn't say did I!!

Violets still abit Mardy today, think she must have upset tummy cause she's had some foul nappies? And she's started pulling herself up onto her feet.

Only saw bits of that concert, not a lot, kept flicking between that and benidorm. I just think, to save all this money, the queen should have just given everyone a diamond instead!! Would have worked out cheaper I bet!

Oh and ment to say, it was a mistake about her 3 rd tooth, I am sure it was there!!! But seems to have disappeared! So she's still got just the bottom 2

Hey ho all!!

How is everyone? What do you have planned for the weekend?

Joshua is being v clingy at the mo. even when he is sat with nick he is leaning towards me with his arms out saying mama. He just wants me all the time.

Report
KLou111 · 08/06/2012 16:06

Awwww bless him iwish I expect it's because he's with you most of the time :) What you up to this weekend?

Just saw your post Liz about your shorts, sorry, I missed that as I was being self centred about Euan walking. I bet they look lovely.
How're you feeling now?
How long is it before you go away?

Nothing planned here, going into town tomorrow as it's dry. Been stuck in the house all week apart from a quick scoot out Wednesday morning, so pulling our hair out!
Just want to get packing and move now. Got all the paperwork this morning finalised so we are moving 3 weeks Monday eeekkk!
Rob's mum and dad are coming on the 18th, so we'll get everything in the house done that we need to do for then (one of the bloody bathroom tiles on the floor has flaming cracked, so it's just things like that.)
Then when they've gone we can pack! They're bringing us a load of plastic boxes Rob's brother used for packing so that'll be very handy. He's just moved so they're empty now.

Euan getting very confident on his walker, but he keeps running out of space! He chases Bella with it and thinks it's hilarious lol! He can't turn it though so he gets a bit frustrated when he hits something.
I've been teaching him how to get off the sofa feet first over the last couple of weeks, and he did it on his own today, so very happy he's done that. He's very aware of height, so he doesn't just jump off the sofa or bed anymore. Just got to teach him the stairs now.
Mum and dad said they taught us to come backwards down the stairs rather than have a stair gate, so am attempting that, but think we'll have to get a couple of stairgates anyway as we've got 2 flights of stairs in the new house, so it would take ages to get Euan down on his own!

Just looking for a new bed at the mo. Ours is a King and going in the guest room as we want a super king (had on holiday and bloody lovely especially when Euan came in!!), and we're contemplating giving Euan the double. He's really bashing around in his cot now and can't even roll as his cot is too narrow, so were going to get him a single bed. Have had a look on the net and people have said just put the mattress on the floor, and put side rails up, which I've found. We'll have the spare double, which we could put in his room instead of a single, but the only thing I'm a bit concerned about is the bed making his room small. He's got a lovely sized room, and don't want a double bed to make it small. Will have to see when we get there really :)

I have no idea what we are doing klou. Nick needs to put some boards in the loft so I might see my mum.

Those shoes are v cute, I saw them in the shop the other week! You could get him a 3/4 bed. Slightly smaller than a double but bigger than a single.

I think he's getting another tooth because he was really clingy when he got his first 2. If not then he's just being a monkey lol

Ohhhhh very nice shoes klou!!!! I always marvel at ow expensive clarks are, but they are worth it.

I bought violet a jumperoo, one was £40 in town so I got it, thinking she would love it as all other kids so, but no, she screams as soon as I go to put her in it. She's like it in her bounce thing and walker too, oh and the outside swing. Anything that restricts her movement she screams at!! So trying to sell that now too.

It's my wedding anniversary tomorrow, 12 years. We was ment to be going to Appleby horse fair, but it's that muddy there that we aren't going to bother. Don't know what we are going to do now

Happy anniversary Liz hope you have a fab day whatever you're doing.

Euans not used his jumperoo for a couple of months as he just screams to get out like violet. I do think they just want to move.

I showed Rob them shoes and he said How bloody much?? Lol!

Not a lot going on here except watching the f1 later, and cleaning the oven! Bought oven pride yesterday so that's been on overnight. Oh the joy!

Morning, me and Chris are not speaking, again. Well I'm not speaking to him.

On Sunday, our anniversary, it was his idea to go to meadowhall, he'd bought me another iPhone to replace the dodgy one he got me at Christmas, so we went and he walked round with a face on him the whole time, then at 2 ish he said he felt I'll, so we went home. As soon as we got home. He fetched a new caravan from up the lane that we had swapped ours for. So I started to put all our stuff in it, juggling that and the baby while he walked round doing not a lot. Then his mate came for him, said he was going to look at a car with him, this was about 3.15 ish as we hadn't been home long. And what time did he come home????? Fucking ten at night. I was fuming. I rang him about 6 just to say, er where are you, and he said he as at his mates having a few drinks and a BBQ!!!!!! Now I don't think I am eing unreasonable when I said he'd better stay there then!!!!

So we are not speaking, he's trying to creep round, but I am severely pissed off.

Apart from that,alls well!!!

Have sold jumperoo to a friend, waste of time!

Omg Liz that was waaaaay out of order esp on your anniversary!!! I hope he's bought you something to make up for it, or he takes you out for dinner or something.
Obviously he wasn't ill then!!

Was going to break down the jumperoo today, but the box is that big anyway it wouldn't make much difference!!

All good here. Euan all ok, still chasing Bella around lol! Been sleeping really well too, not been hearing a peep from when he goes to bed til 7.30/8 which is fab.
I've changed his food so he has his main meal at night instead of at lunch time, and giving him a sandwich, baby puff crisps things and a pudding at lunch.
I started it yesterday as I was getting fed up of trying to think of different teas for him, and he's more awake in the evening than at lunch which is odd, and he still slept fine, so will carry on with it :)
I bought some little boxes of raisins too and he's had them fine so he has them as a snack in the afternoon.

How's you iwish?

Are you keeping your jumperoo for the next baby? Save you from buying one next time!

No he's not bought me anything, we was supposed to be going out for a meal on Thursday night, but seeing as its with his friends, I left it to him to ask my mum about babysitting, and today, he says we aren't going cause he's not asking mum. I know this all seems childish and tit for tat, but that's the way he is, got his head so far up his own arse he can't see

Hey all.

Omg liz I would be pissed off too!! I wouldn't speak to nick if he did the same. We will keep our jumperoo for baby no2, I'm going to put it in the loft in a few weeks of he doesn't start to use it more.

Glad Euan is sleeping well klou. Is he chasing her with his walker or crawling?

All is ok here. Joshua is sleeping well. He usually does 7:30-7:00/7:30. He's trying to crawl, he rocks on his hands and knees, moves one arm then falls flat lol
He has also started being REALLY clingy. He has to actually sit on my knee on the floor sometimes to play with his toys. If I leave him alone he cries saying mamama.

I go back to work in 2 weeks :(

He'll be crawling soon from the look of it.

How's things at home?

Well, Euan has just come down the stairs on his own :) Started doing it better yesterday but kept going back up instead of coming down!
