For years DD had her heart set on George. I was ready to have a conversation with our priest to see if girls could take "boys" names for confirmation names.
(This is the same DD who thew herself on the floor and howled aged 5 when I explained to her she couldn't be a priest. Being a nun wasn't cutting for her.)
Anyway, she's being confirmed this year and did a bit of Googling herself and came up with Anastasia. Because St Anastasia's feast day is 25th December, and DD likes to feast on the 25th of December.
I'd never heard of St Anastasia, but I know it was popular in Ireland a few decades ago, so surely it is a Catholic Saints name.
My Googling suggests otherwise.
So.....Amelia Anna Tatiana George
or
Amelia Anna Tatiana Anastasia
Or something else?
