Recommendations for ski holiday during Easter

Hello! I live in England and would like to take my children to learn to ski during the Easter school holidays but I have not planned anything.

Is it possible to go somewhere that doesn’t cost the earth given that we will book so late?

It doesn’t need to be a fancy resort, just suitable for teens who have never skied and are keen to learn. Budget can be up to £3k for 4 people but also a bit more as it will probably just be a one off holiday. Maybe it’s not possible, but would love to hear some recommendations as we don’t know anybody who goes on family ski holidays for very beginners. I would prefer not to travel far and I don’t mind self catering places.

You need to go high in April. Somewhere like Val Thorens. I think your beget is low once you factor lessons, ski passes, kit hire in. Would you drive or fly?

Thanks for the response, I will check Val Thorens. We would be flying. Budget is flexible, since we have not been before, I don’t have a good idea even after looking at some websites. I knew it was not cheap 😊
