Maybe I should change my name to ‘Scabiesobsessed’ , anyway, almost 3 months I’m wondering if there’s a debate going on with medics because I possibly have the beginnings of crusted scabies which doesn’t present as classic scabies.
For those who have had it what were your warning signs before the actual big thick crusts that you see when you google it.
My feet are concerning me with some flaky toes, grey patch on foot joint ,a red patch on my forehead, bumps appear randomly all over from ankles upwards and spots vary in colour and don’t all itch. I’ve never been kept awake with itching. Apparently it’s not just the elderly or immune compromised that get it.Biopsy showed eosinophilia in skin and inflammatory peri vascular infiltration. I’ve been treating this since the end of November, just taken 3rd lot of 5x3mg of ivermectin (consecutively every 8 days) and still getting bumps appear.
My neck has had a few bumps appear, mostly white ones on there. Other spots are red, the odd one scabby .
So many tiny pin prick red dots over entire body. Right boob has felt itchy underneath for ages, no visible rash.
shaving really irritates my skin, often get a bad rash.
Awaiting to see new dermo.
