Do you have a 'nobody would EVER believe me' story? No matter the subject or how daft, unreal it seems, please share :)

I have two. I told a friend totally out of the blue that Michael Jackson would be dead six weeks from now, he was. I pointed at the screen and told a friend whilst watching Loose Women that Linda Bellingham would die soon of cancer.
I dunno why i felt compelled to say those things but i felt i needed to.

No criticising, hairsplitting or arguing pleae.

Be brave and tell. :)

If I had said that I once wrote down six numbers and the next thirty minutes those numbers exactly ached the lottery live results. Nobody would ever believe me. No ticket though. Oh well

Aww, I love the friendly mole!! Smile

I was eating out at a very swanky restaurant, went for a pregnant pee (had only a tiny pee and a bit of loo roll) and when I looked down in the toilet bowl there was a wriggling worm. Visions flashed through my brain that it had come from me, the baby had worms, that the person before me had serious gut problems and so on. I very quickly flushed the toilet in panic/stress.

Put me right off my posh meal, funny that. Didn't say anything to anyone because I couldn't understand what the fuck had just happened. I think most likely it was dodgy plumbing. But it was live? When I googled water worms they look far more eel like than this one did.

As a student I was staying at my mum and her DP's house. I'd decided DP was a jerk and whilst I was having a shower, in a bizarre attempt to annoy him, I wished that the shower would just stop working.

It just stopped working whilst I was stood user it! They had to replace it Shock

My dad has always maintained that he saw a newsflash at lunchtime about a factory fire in Flixborough. Hours later the Flixborough a Chemical factory exploded killing 28 people Sad.

Apparently Reg Presley of the Troggs saw it too and it led to him spending the rest of his life investigating the paranormal.

I was walking a dog (on a lead) into a field a couple of years ago, when a massive black cat ran from a bunch of low bushes in front of me and disappeared into some trees. It was definitely a cat because of the way it moved - totally unlike the way a dog runs, but it was the size of a large labrador. It was in a fairly built up area in broad daylight as well. No-one ever believes me when I tell them.

Not me but my gran has a freaky one. She woke up in a real panic that something awful had happened to my granddad with no explanation for her feelings. She got my mum and uncle out of bed at 3am, got them dressed and ready to go out and then the phone rang to say that my granddad had been in an accident at work - a piece of machinery had lost control, crushed him against the wall and broken his back.

She says she has no idea what happened that night but she just knew something awful had happened.

The two most important men in my life have both missed major disasters... my dad who came through kings cross, just before the fire took hold...he must literally have passed over it smouldering.

And then Dp, was booked onto the herald of free enterprise...but missed it as he decided to stay for an extra pint

A former boss told me this true story.

His dad was very ill, dying at home and all the family had gathered for his last days and hours. Dad was deeply unconscious.

Late one evening their dad's eyes opened and he said, clear as day, "Wait for me, Cushtie" then closed his eyes and died.

Family were naturally saddened etc, and a little confused by his last sentence, however, Cushtie was a local name in their parts and while they didn't know one, they presumed it had been an old school friend or something that dad had referred to.

Five days later they were at the crematorium, which had a notice board with the order of cremations for the day, and the one before their dad was a Mr Cushtie. They asked the crem staff to check, and it turns out Mr Cushtie - who they did not know and who lived on the other side of the county - died one minute before their dad.

When I was about 8 and lived in Spain, my brother and I found the body of a huge great big dog-like creature. Except it definitely wasn't a dog as it was too big and it had a massive jaw it was completely black. We had dogs of our own so we knew it wasn't a dog, and the part of Spain we lived in (an island) doesnt have wild Bears or wolves.
We poked it a bit with sticks and decided to go tell an adult. We did but no one believed us and wouldn't come and see. When we went back, there was nothing there other than a big bit of flattened grass.

For many years, I suffered recurrent nightmares - the jolting awake shaking sort - that I drove into the back of a car.

Three years ago did exactly that, hospitalised but ok now.

My sister had a dream one night that our deceased mum had come back, it properly freaked her out as she never has dreams like this. I phoned sister at 7am that morning to tell her that my 3 year old daughter had died in the night. We like to think that mum came to collect her.....

I has a holiday thing with a guy years ago. We tried to carry it on back home (lived opposite ends of country) but fizzled out quickly. Our families often went on hol same time same place so the last time we spoke, agreeing to call it off, I said 'oh well, if you're going to xxx next year, let me know'. Months and months later I was walking down the street and suddenly thought totally out of the blue 'x has called me.' * When I got home my mum said 'oh x called for you'.

*days before mobiles, obv!

My house is haunted. The only person who believes me is my neighbour. He works with CCTV at nights and has seen very weird things in the area. Ghosts come in weirdest shapes.

I met a witch doctor in Mexico once who made me levitate a pencil and then tried to shag me. To this day I know it wasn't hypnotism. (I didn't let him shag me.)

When my best friend had her little boy, I bought several very cute baby grows. I bought them in 3-6 months knowing that she'd get lots in newborn sizes. While choosing them this wave of sadness came over me and knew that he'd never get to wear them. It made me cry. Her beautiful little boy passed away at 4 weeks old.

I was in a big lift with my mum and my baby, who was fast asleep and not making a sound. I think she was about 4/5 months at the time.

A lady got on with her daughter in a pushchair, she looked about 3 or 4 and had sunglasses strapped on. Her mum helped her press the lift buttons then the little girl leant forward towards my pram and said 'there's a little baby in here'. My mum and I just did the usual 'yes there is but she's having a little sleep......'. Noticed the mum was crying and she told us that her daughter is completely blind and she has no idea how she would know that.

Not really woo I suppose but what an amazing girl!

I used to be able to turn street lights off just by walking past them. I told my then boss, who (understandably) took the royal piss and said prove it. So I did. 3 in a row, one after the next. He was proper freaked out.
It still happens now but only occasionally Confused
