Right, so some voting (for dates), and some venue checking has been done, and Me n NappiesGalore have made executive organising planning decisions (based on us having little time and few options )

Saturday 22nd November

Dust Bar (website here)

Nearest Tube Station - Farringdon

It will be canapes, so if you want more food, eat beforehand.

The canapes are being chosen for us - they will be clearly labelled as meat, fish, veg and will allergy advice.

The music we can bring a dj, ipod with playlist set up or have music piped up (music is a very varied mix so should suit everyone). We can use any/all of those options.

Music is quieter at bar end, plus we will have volume control.

They have some fabulous sounding shots

Price will be £20 per head max. I will phone tomorrow to find out when they need final numbers for food etc, and when we have a more accurate numbers list, I can work out the right cost - it WILL NOT be more than £20. If we end up paying more than is needed, then obviously I will buy a new dress divide it up and refund people OR put it behind the bar - whatever you think is best.

How's it all sound?

Oh bollocky bollock

I have been trying to buy a sodding train ticket this weeks.

Talk about confusion

I need a ticket from Bath spa to Paddington and a zone 1 rail card.

all return

Not much to bloody ask is it?

Fucking websites.

Keeps telling me that Yes! the ticket is 30 quid all in. Then it tells me I need to pay a fiver for a railcard. Then it tells me that the fiver is just for the outward journey

I will be walking at this rate

Sheik - go to www.thetrainline.com and buy a ticket from Bath Spa to London Zone 1, that should cover you for the Tube then.

I can't find a return train ticket from Taunton to Paddington for less than 57 quid

Did I leave it too late? bastards!

Report
SheikYerbouti · 06/11/2008 11:28

How easy is it for you to get to Bath MP? A return from Bath to Paddington is about 30 quid. (I think)

Report
morningpaper · 06/11/2008 11:45

Bath is a PITA because you have to change at bristol for most of them

AHHHH never mind I will have to fork out the 57, I'm sure it was only about 22 lsat year

the first class is 256!

From Bath flamey

It looks like it would be easier to get to Dartford via Siberia

My thinking is get you somewhere else and then car share iyswim. It might be a bit of a random route, but I wonder if there is anywhere we can get you to and then pick you up en route from Romsey
