Client Account Manager (Part-Time, Remote with Occasional London Travel)

£32,000 pro rata | 20 hours per week | Flexible working

We’re looking for a proactive and personable Client Account Manager to join our team at Alvius, a software company specialising in recruitment and vetting systems.

This is a part-time, primarily remote role with flexible working hours, ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships and is comfortable working with technology. The role requires occasional travel to London for office days and client meetings.

The Role

You’ll be the main point of contact for our clients, supporting them with day-to-day queries while building strong, long-term relationships.

This role combines client management with a technical understanding of our systems. You don’t need to be technical, but you should be confident in learning how software works and explaining it clearly to others.

For instance, customers will come to you when they are trying to work out how best to use our platform to perform a new function. It will be your responsibility to advise them on possible routes and propose solutions using your comprehensive understanding of our system. You will then liaise with our software team to plan and deliver the final solution.

You may also be involved in delivering product demos to clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day client queries via email and calls
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Leading regular client check-ins and review meetings
  • Supporting clients in using our recruitment and vetting software
  • Delivering product demos when required
  • Acting as a bridge between clients and internal teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client experience

About You

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or client relations (preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, organised, and proactive
  • IT literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Curious and interested in how software platforms work
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities

Working Pattern

  • 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
  • Flexible working between 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Fully remote, with:
  • 2 office days per month in London (every other Monday) – Flexibility can be shown around this to accommodate personal commitments.
  • Occasional in-person client meetings in London
