Messed up Depo shot

So I'm on the Depo shot, every 3 months I go in and get another shot. Well somehow I missed my last shot. I NEVER fuck up like this. I'm like 3 weeks past!!! I'm freaking out. I already have 5 kids. I cannot have another. We are literally stretched to the limit. How could I be so dumb. I never ever ever mess up like this. And I haven't been feeling well the last few days, so I'm freaking out. I have an appointment on Friday to restart the shot, or maybe I'll go back on the pill. Ugh sorry for the ramble I am just insanely worried and mad at myself. Chances are slim I'm pregnant again. Right?! Damn it I want to cry.

You haven't failed, everyone makes mistakes and with 5 kids you are bound to forget things - I forget and I only have 2! Grin

The only thing you could do is a test but it's highly unlikely but until you do a test you won't know Thanks

It can take 12 months for your periods to return after depo, it's by far the longest acting contraceptive. I think it's pretty unlikely (although obviously not impossible)

@ColourfulOrangex I've been having slight slight periods in the 3rd month, and I just had a few days of period, but now I'm worried it was implantation bleeding. But it was brown (gross sorry), so it was probably period. My anxiety is killing me. I feel like I failed my family.

When I was on the depo shot it stopped my periods so unless you have been having them it's highly unlikely you are pregnant Smile
