Now that I've put that in the title, we will almost certainly get snow. LOL!

Welcome to nearly-August.

Thanks I'm pretty sure it isn't done in our town at all though sadly. I will see if there are any that do though (but will go to asda anyway today as we need dinner)

In store delivery from Iceland is £20 or £25 minimum spend.

Worked from home all day today so nsd.

Wreck sorry your SD was like that with you.

Hey meadow, YY to taking all offers of help. Crying is worse for mother's I think. Bloody primal instinct.

I thought he was about that age crème. It's almost as tough as toddler years.

Pleased you are getting somewhere with the plan lonely. Such a big step to go on it but it seems like a relief to you?

Girlie sorry your arm is still painful. I had one once in my shoulder but after I concoction of amitriptyline, gabapentin and pain killers I didn't care Grin

We've been at my dads for a swim in the pool. It's going to be a late night for the dc as we're still at my dads playing in the garden. Might do a frittata for dinner.

Sea if you were in Hudds you were not far from Casa Wolf.

Creme that behaviour sounds very familiar, I find it exhausting and if my own resilience is down my patience for dealing with it is very limited. We’ve had at least one instance a day on holiday. The one at passport control got me because he just didn’t care that there were armed police - his way or the highway.

Em I have to say your job sounds amazing, yachts, the alps and occasional treats from appreciaive clients. Not jealous at all!! (Lying 🐺)

Getting through the debt in 5 years will be amazing lonely instead of forever Smile

Sorry to hear about the difficult teenagers creme and wolf

Great to hear from you meadow. Poor DD with the colic

Bits of rumbling thunder here at the moment. I'm excited that we may have 20 degrees at the weekend whilst we are away. I have had to pack the DDs a jumper, just incase as no doubt they will say it is cold 😂

I love hearing about your new house joy cag. I'm so pleased it is working out so well!

Well done on the debt plan Love. We nearly went there when stupid h landed himself with a ccs but by luck and through having a decent credit rating myself and using the offers I was sent to bail him out we just managed to scrap by. I’m still not free and clear 8 years later but definitely in a better place. The only place you can really see the impact is in the house which needs a lot of work doing.

I love chorizo so easy to make spicy beans, bulk up Mexican bake or add to eggs or a lovely chorizo hash. They are serving it here for breakfast so happy times.

My parents did can’t leave the table until you’ve eaten everything on your plate. There are still things I hate today, I didn’t eat beef for years from a combination of having to sit at the table until I’d eaten all of it on Sunday, then it turning up in sandwiches on Monday, then with chips on Monday night Envy (not envy). I do eat it or leave it. No force feeding but equally no silliness tolerated. I don’t cook things I know he really doesn’t like but o don’t tolerate a sudden faddy dislike for something that’s been eaten many times

Nearly caught up now....

Or casa Unescorted either.

Spices. You have missed all the aniseed ones - fennel, star anise, dill. Also Amchoor... Dried green mango powder which gives the sour note in curry. I have been spoilt for spices.... I go shopping with one of my colleagues in Longsight for pay day lunch treat. She has taught me so much about spicing. And office backs onto Chinatown.

I didn't get the job 😶 but the person who did is better suited so I can see why.

Mental load so annoys me. We have got better.....after I stopped caring if we forgot to get his mother a birthday card or if he had clean underwear. A shared calendar helps...if you make an appointment then put it on or suck it up if no-one remembers.

Wreck hope your arm makes a speedy recovery.
Meadow it is hard when they are mites. Colic nearly drove me to distraction... It has recently dawned on me DD who had it ate really quickly and DS didn't but ate really slowly. Both still do. I don't know if there is a correlation.
Lonely can I hold your hand. You are starting on the journey we did.... We got to the end of it 2years ago. The last year was the hardest but the feeling of not owing anything was amazing. In a way I am thankful for all the skills I had to learn... including not giving a feck about anything or what others think.

Thanks for your positive comments...it's a massive step for me to sort all this out. I still have to get through the budget thing with them, open a 'safe' bank account, and then go ahead. unescorted yes please! I know it's going to be hard living without the safety net of credit, but honestly, it's become a pot of poisen to me.

£15 in the co-op for stuff for tea, and chocolate biscuits. Chicken in pittas with salad from the garden. All of a sudden I have masses of courgettes - marrow sized ones.

Tired after a hot day at work, but it's friday tomorrow! Already. Dp, however says it has been a looong week!

meadow so glad to hear from you. I sympathise with you, it's so very hard when you know your wee baby is in pain/uncomfortable, but you sound ok. I hope you have healed up well, and go you for still bf! It isn't easy. I cried for every (neverending) feed with dd1 for about 3 months.

Sorry I meant Lonely not Love on the debt plan

Meadow for us the things that worked with colic were tiger in the tree and a mamas ans papas vibrating chair that someone bought ds. It didn’t bounce like the fisher price ones just vibrated, it was really the only thing that made ds comfortable. Colic drops never really made a difference alone.

I love the sculpture park Sea, hope you had a great day out

wreck frittata here for tea too. Just going to use chorizo, potatoes and whatever veg I’ve got knocking around.

Lovely bit of frugal spending earlier. DS needs some more swim shorts and pyjamas. Used a Debenhams voucher that has been knocking around for ages to pay for them. And it’s still got almost £40 left on it, which will come in handy as I try to work out what everyone needs for holidays.
