I wanted to share a bit about our local mum2mum market for anyone who hasn’t been to one before.
It’s a nearly-new baby and children’s market where local parents sell the things their own children have grown out of – clothes, toys, books, maternity wear, baby equipment, nursery bits, etc.
For buyers, it’s a chance to pick up good-quality items at sensible prices, all in one place, and often things that are barely used.
For sellers, it’s an easy way to declutter, make some money back, and know that your items are going straight to another local family who needs them.
It’s very much about supporting local parents, saving money, and re-using rather than buying everything new. Lots of people pop in just for a browse or a chat as much as the shopping.
