Is this isolation worthy?

I genuinely don’t know - the guidance is so ambiguous.

General feeling of rubbish ness. Sore throat, heavy head / ears.

Oral temp of 37.6°.

Very occasional cough. Certainly not persistent.

This is the difficulty.

I if I was sure it was true symptoms I would isolate in a heartbeat. I certainly wouldn’t want to pass it on - I am terrified for those vulnerable in my own family.

The unpleasant truth is it will cause severe hardship so I can’t afford to do it unnecessarily. If I had to isolate again because I’ve genuinely caught it I don’t know how we’d cope.

I think I’ll do as suggested and continue to monitor. No need to be out over the next couple of days anyway thankfully.

I'd say isolate to be on the safe side.

The difficulty is so many people will have mild symptoms and not be sure so will carry on as normal and inadvertently infect others.

Maybe see how you go over night and keep checking your temp. If you’re no worse tomorrow I think you’re probably ok. Hard to say though with such borderline symptoms.
