Hi Ladies,

I think il jump onboard this bus!!! im due to test 3rd April.

After nearly a yr of trying I got pregnant in Sept but had a mmc - found out at 12wk scan. What a bummer.

As ive got pco's have got some Clomid to get me started agin as nothing was happening. Took 1st lot last week but on 8dpo got period - Like rightup My body has its own agenda and does exactly what it likes.

So started again this month and made it to 10 dpo so far!!!

Im getting pregnant this month and il have my BFP nxt month and this bloody clomid's gonna work! (giving lady bits a very good stern talking to!)

We've been DTD every other day for a week (I know its early but I wanna make sure im full of DP's little swimmers!!) We'l both be glad when its over - ive never had so much sex since I was in my 20's and quite frankly I just dont think im quite as up for to it as I used to be!!

hai lucky, the Mr is out until late tonight so I will definitely be asleep by the time he gets in, I'm so tired these days he'll have a job to wake me up!
curious fair play to you!! That is a good effort, the novelty soon wears off in my experience! And you're like oh god not again...
mildred see I kind of wish OBEM would put me off a bit, but it doesn't, unfortunetly I just get broodier .. As did the newborn baby I saw earlier when picking up DD!

Big welcome RIBS so sorry to hear about your mmc, someone close to me found out at their 12 week scan like that, she was in bits, so horrible. This is going to be your month Grin I'm in my 20s and still not up for DTD all the time, DD/work/housework make sure of that! I think back to my youth when it would be unusual to only have it once a night!

my plans for tonight.. Once Dd is in bed I'm going to pamper/de-hair etc while I have the house to myself.. In preparation for lots of action over the weekend! Who's with me?!

Hi RIBS and welcome. Sorry to hear your MC, 12 weeks is quite far along, even harder to come to terms with Sad This will be your month.

Mildred leg shaving?! Is it someone's birthday? DP would think I was cheating on him if I shaved my legs and wasn't wearing a skirt. Grin

cookies that sounds like a good plan Smile

According to TCOYF you should SWI every other day throughout your cycle until you notice EWCM and then you should SWI everyday you have EWCM as that's your most fertile time. This is if there are no concerns about your DP's sperm count.

Still bleeding, stupid body Angry no point in SWI, too much mess for no results.

PMSL at 90 mins of torture being mistaken for 90 mins of sex!! It's not THAT bad is it?!?!?!

I thought Hai was expecting 90 minutes of SWI after she'd put up with 90 minutes of footy.

Not that 90 minutes of sex is that outrageous, early on in a relationship but nowadays we're done in 30 minutes. Blush and if we've been DTD everyday by the end of the week it's over 10 minutes maximum coz I'm so bored of it.

I'm not quite 30 and the idea of 90 minutes of SWI would be less preferable than not having another DC at all! Grin

Haha your posts have made me chuckle ladies. I just couldn't do it anymore.. It's like how in the past you can drink all weekend and feel nothing.. These days if I do have a few glasses of wine at a friends I have a three day hangover.

I have indulged in a face pack, painted my nails and put a bit of Holiday Skin on. And with smooth legs too he's gonna know fertile time is around the corner! Am I mad to think these efforts will succeed in a weekend of teenage bonking?!

SWI #2 of the month - tick!! It's quite good when you get into it so why is it most of the time you can't be bothered!!

the 90 minute torture bit made me laugh. I agree that every day of the month is too much! It's not supposed to be a chore. We are trying eod but are a bit hit and miss eg 3 on and then 2 off ... will try to make sure its every day over ovulation if the ov sticks pick it up. Have used ov sticks last night and tonight. Nothing last night (cd 11) and only an invisible line tonight Grin

That so true winkle. What's most annoying is when (and I hope I'm not the only one who does this now I'm sharing with you all!) you decide to only spend enough time doing it for him but then when you start you think actually that feels quite nice...oh it's over...clench, suck in, legs up! Grin

Tryin not to make sex all about ttc but Its hard not too.

I think it's quite difficult... when SWI it feels like theres so much pressure. I can't enjoy a single second of it lol..

I remember saying to my DH in the early pregnancy unit when I was having a miscarriage that I just couldn't do it again, having to wrangle him into sex, making him a dinner he loves / wearing certain clothes / putting DD down for a nap early so she goes to bed at a reasonable time after rushing through her dinner / teeth / bath / milk / story...

He promised it would be okay this time so its a lucky thread ;)

MildredH · 16/03/2012 12:15

I think you're right- even with the best intentions it's hard for it not to become all about TTC when you're DTD on a Weds night after a 12 hour shift which isn't something we'd usually do.

We're surviving it so far by trying to keep a sense of humour about it and how crazy it is.. Ok so far 6 months in but imagine it'll get old if goes on too long!

There should be some sort of rehab centre for peeing on sticks. I find myself analysing if I think it's a 'good one' as well. Get a grip me. Blush
Im entering my 'fertile days' so full steam ahead if the december dream is still to occur..
