The Gruffalo

I'm watching the film of The Gruffolo and my 5 year old grandson has just asked "Where is Gruffolo country?". Does anybody know the answer?

Thanks for these answers. I've just remembered there's a Guffolo Trail at Alice Holt Park. I think in the way a small child thinks he was in a way meaning where in real life does The Gruffolo live.

Oh there is loads. Belfast has one as well. It's just that I've been to the one in Brentwood

So to disappoint tinker but there's a gruffalo trail at Delamere Forrest in Cheshire too.

Hmmm I've always thought Germany. I've no idea why!
Maybe because of Axel Schefler(sp) I'm aware that makes no sense what so ever
