Anyone who had herpes outbreak at time of c-section, was your baby unaffected?

I'm having a planned c section at 39 weeks due to having a herpes ob at 37.5 weeks. I believe the ob will be gone by 39 weeks however I may still be shedding or tbe scabs may still be a little visible, hence opting for the section. I am just worried about the incision area being so close to my ob as one of my blisters is quite high up above the on the outer vagina lips. Would the baby touch this area while being pulled out for the c section? Any success stories of people who actually had an active ob at the time of delivering via section and baby was ok? Scared stiff!! I've been on antivirals too and unfortunately they haven't worked. Baby should have some antibodies as I aquirred the hsv before pregnancy it just didn't sit right having a vaginal birth tho.

Why do you come here to post the exact same thread over and over again?

Everything below where the incision is made will be covered with a drape. Everything not covered with a drape is made sterile with a chlorhexidine solution.
