My FIL works for TFL and he gave DH a family pass years ago before we met which allows family members to travel for free. The pass is only for DH and only he uses it. He lived with them till we got married and then we moved into our own home. DH still uses his card as we genuinely didn’t know it’s only a family pass for family members LIVING in the house as worker, Probably FIL knew but DH definitely didn’t and tbh I have never even thought about it so before people accuse us of scamming - I haven’t genuinely thought or even wondered about his pass. 4 Enforcement officers came to the house this morning. Not a typo! Both my kids at home with stomach bug so not a good time. DH who is autistic is beyond broken he’s been crying and is really upset. I’m sheltering the kids as much as I can and put them upstairs with film on whilst we talk but I’m feeling so lost. I don’t know how to make him feel less stressed and I’m worried as they said he has to go court and pay back a huge amount which they don’t know yet as it’s fraud so has to be decided by the courts. I’m angry that criminals and rapists walk free and 4 police officers have time to deal with this. any advice welcome please. No nasty comments please I’m really struggling right now and need to be strong for DH and my kids
