We’ve had a couple of doozies lately - the woman who was told her Morrison’s jacket potato should fill her up for the rest of the day and was unreasonable to cook a roast after a ‘treat lunch’; the woman who thought her husband was ordering too much pizza and

The opposite attitudes are just two sides of the same coin. It’s the curse of plenty. Everybody who’s got internet access knows perfectly well what’s good for them and what’s not. Cynical manufacturers exploiting weakness.

I have quite disordered eating and eat one meal a day. I was a skinny child, then a fat teenager and young adult. Lost weight early thirties without trying and seems to be coming off the pill. I am now the lightest I have ever been and I don’t have a huge appetite in my forties bit I love to cook and if people come over i put on a great spread and tuck in. I just don’t get hungry. I can polish off a family bag of onion rings and m&m’s when in the mood though...

There was a lovely honest funny thread where people talked about their overeating habits. "I'm fat because I..." Maybe 18m or 2yrs ago? Refreshingly honest.

I'd be interested to read the thread mentioned on here earlier where one poster eat 48 Creme Eggs in a day.
Should anyone know the title of that thread...

I have a fairly disordered relationship with food: the only times I have felt genuinely in control of what I eat have been largely around restricting (refined) carb intake. I know very few women who are able to just regard food as fuel.

I still remember, probably 15 years later, a birthday card from my best friend (who is the world's best card-buyer anyway). With a cheery Sandra Boynton hippo on the front, it said "Happy birthday to a TRULY GREAT FRIEND, who has never ONCE said "Are you sure you should be eating that?"
