What everyday noise drives you to distraction?

I am sitting in my favourite coffee shop and one of the members of staff needed to move a chair away from a table to place it in front of a high cupboard so she could stand on it to reach it. She dragged the chair several yards and the scraping noise made me feel like screaming. She then proceeded to do this several more times by which time I felt like my ears were bleeding. Nobody else seemed remotely bothered. My DD gets the rage from the clinking noise made when people stirring their tea/coffee for an excessive amount of time. What common place noises drive YOU mad?

Oh I forgot. Overly loud sneezing. Slurping and constant sniffing.

Yes to beeping noises on phone keyboards! Although in fairness,I think some people just don't know HOW to/are unaware that you CAN switch the noise off. And yes to picking finger/toenails. Argh makes me feel murderous. In my defence,I have fibromyalgia,of which a symptom can be over-sensitivity to noise. Noticed that ticking clocks/watches seem to be a recurring theme here. Strangely,I find this noise quite comforting.

Oh yes to the overly loud sneezing -makes me furious. I can't stand the noise of items being removed/moved around in an iced up freezer either. Just horrible!

People eating, people eating crisps out the bag ignites a rage so strong I go Mr Hyde on my normal Dr Jekyll. Taking the caps off bottles, pouring drinks ( especially fizzy ones)

Any crinkly wrapping, makes me want to stab people. Snoring, snoring in my ear also ignites the rage.

missy it's not a Samsung is it? Ours plays a little tune at the end of every cycle. It's an irritating little bugger.

No ticking clocks in my house.
Hate the constant noise the fridge freezer makes.
My worst noises are anything repeating and constant, like drips and ticks. My brain seems to focus on them and they just get louder and louder.
