AIBU?

To let the squirrel in to play the Xbox, and while I'm here - do cats understand lawnmowers?

Yes I am sober.

We have a few regularly visiting squirrels, i feed 'em nuts as i quite like to see their happy little squirrely faces jumping around the garden. One squig though always seems to stay around when the xbox is on (you can see it from the patio doors). I've just turned it on to have a sneaky go at minecraft - squig is eyeballing me again. Tempted to pass him a controller and see what he can do. That's perfectly reasonable isn't it?

And on the cat thing. Last time I mowed my lawn, cat (not mine) just kept moving a little bit away rather than buggering off somewhere else. I swear it was tutting at me as well every time the mower got near him. Don't they understand I'll be mowing the whole lawn?? For notoriously lazy animals, he created quite a bit of work for himself there. Its been bothering me.

TIA for any sage advice in these pressing matters.

Yes we did get a bit sidetracked by squirrels, the spaceship plans and the crockery requirements of assorted creatures. (Not forgetting Mrs B and her possible marriage problems)

Do you think the cat and lawnmower is a totally separate concern - or could it be while the cat is occupying your attention, the squirrels are making skeleton keys for the patio doors?

It is, of course, possible that the cat was admiring the mower and considering purchasing a similar model for his own garden

I think the cat was admiring the mower for parts to help build the spaceship.

It's ten to 7 and no Fat Barry, Mrs Barry or Scabby fox.

Eugh Lunatic!

Oh Sparkling maybe the Barrys have a dinner invitation elsewhere.

Think I'm convinced that the squirrel should not - under any circumstances be let in the house!!!

8 o'clock and still no wildlife. Sad

Maybe the spaceship is finished and they've launched it?

I just chucked my cats outside with the remains of the chicken thighs we had for dinner so there won't be much for the wildlife tonight. Our outside light is broken so the beast of the moors could be out there with them and I wouldn't know anyway Grin

Are you sure the outside light is broken? The bulb may have been appropriated for space exploration. Presumably they need to see where they're heading?

Safe journey Scabby Fox and Mr&Mrs B.

For the love of God - don't invite the Squirrel on the X-box.

I made the mistake of being nice to one once whilst waiting at the bus stop - lovely little cute one it was, I even shared a piece of twix I was eating I know! I know! He put the twix down on the grass then the little bastard ran at me, done some sort of star jump in mid air and tried to claw my hand. Sad
Really, if he wasn't fond of twix all he had to do was say :)

Absolutely rolling @
The wank watching perverted Squirrel :) and the relate attending hedgehogs :)

Gummi... They've done a remarkably good job of screwing the cover back on if they have made off with the bulb. I have a new bulb sitting on the counter for the last two weeks so I shall report back when I shift my arse and replace it.

Come to think of it my watering can vanished a while back... I blamed the kids but they claim it wasn't them

I have my dinner and return to find the spaceship may have launched already.

I'm concerned Mrs hedgehog hasn't taken our advice to ltb. I'm not sure relate will be able to help Fat Baz overcome his food/control issues. Confused

Grin at the thought of a squirrel flying through the air with a Kung fu move. A little disturbed by the number of sex stories though. They are clearly a somewhat perverse species.

Squirrels are Not To Be Trusted.

I was watching two little squirrely mates scampering along the fence, back and forth, like they were playing Tag. So sweet!

Then one squirrel pushed his squirrely mate off the fence. Literally, just gave him a shove. I swear I heard him cackling as he did it.
