Can be a job/relationship/trip/offer, anything at all

I’ve two job regrets but both are only based on money and I wouldn’t have been happy and potentially would have quit within weeks

I got offered a job in New England, all expenses paid for the first 6 months, working with disabled children. I turned it down as I wanted to stay with my then boyfriend. Idiotic decision.

30 years ago I was a Holiday Rep, had worked my way through the ranks and was eventually running my own resort in Goa for three months over the winter. I was then asked to do the Maldives and Sri Lanka for an entire year - 6 months in each. I turned it down. I knew it was time to 'come home'.
