What shortages do you notice in the shops?

I can't remember where I bought a glass bottle of Coca Cola Yalang Yalang a while ago, I now can't find it anywhere.

Americans are apparently experiencing a shortage of chicken.

Are shortages sorted now, are we still in 'Feed the nation' mode?

Cooked prawn crackers is the weirdest one — can't understand why there'd be a shortage there, assuming they're imported raw and just chucked in a fryer in a factory in Hounslow or wherever.

Someone I know ordered a new car (nothing fancy or weirdly custom made) and it will be 6 months before he gets it!

Chicken Kiev Tesco haven't had any for weeks and my dd loves them.

Ives noticed a lot in Tesco recently that they seem to have run of of things or at least there own brand things and the more expensive branded item is only available

@fluffydinosaur21

Pet food. PlayStation 5s.

I think it's a good thing we have far to much choice maybe this what we need to go back to basics.

Yeah other people seem to need far too much choice in all kinds of frivolous things. They just need to pare it back to the specific things I personally prefer.

Cat food - sometimes out of stock for weeks at a time, and across different retailers.
Various bits from the world food aisle.
Building materials - lots of different stock items.

Oh, snd guitars! I’ve ordered one for DP’s 60th and Brexit is making it tricky and potentially with import duty (it’s not exorbitantly priced either(.

Loads of cat food in our local home bargains. Amazon have plenty of cat food listed if anyone is desperate.

No tagliatelle in Morrison’s but no great issue as just had a different pasta shape. Also marmite here is very limited. I noticed restrictions on chicken breasts when I ordered online but no such shortages when shopping in store so have now switched back to in store.

Marmite!!!

BREXIT VOTERS: Hope your'e proud of yourselves!!! 😤😤😤

I voted remain but read the thread, I don't think you can blame the marmite shortage on Brexit.

@PattyPan

I’ve never heard of that coke either - I thought ylang ylang was more of a perfume ingredient than something you ate!

I’ve noticed:
Printers
Greenhouses
Exercise equipment (stationary bikes etc)
Peppers

I sympathise with people trying to get hold of IKEA pax wardrobes- we had this struggle last year and just bought bits as they became available in the end.

@PattyPan

I was given some ylang ylang green tea once. I wasn't too keen on it, mainly because it tasted of perfume.

Cat food, Dolce Gusto pods and Marmite.

Amazon subscription for your pods? We get 90 delivered every 2 months, works out cheaper too.
