What are ‘treat’ things people buy themselves?

It’s just been my birthday and am fortunate enough to have been given a gift card to be used in a number of places (most high street places online included). I have around £120 to spend.

Can I ask what indulgent things people like to buy for themselves as a treat to get an idea of what to buy?

PS I hope I am not coming off as insensitive as I know people are having money worries right now. I’m sorry if I offend anyone with this thread. This is a huge chunk of money for me, so even more reason I am struggling to think of ways to spend it. The gift card was bought for me with the intentions of me treating myself as it was a ‘big’ birthday, so I really don’t just want to fritter it away on the food shop, bills etc, as my parents will ask me what I chose to buy with it

I spent my Christmas money on books, on socks, and at Penhaligons.

Silk pillowcase
Ugg slippers
L'occitane serum
Leather gloves
A nice wool coat

Art - which to me incorporates things like vintage travel posters/advertising
Books
Pyjamas
Vintage wool blanket

I would usually go for beauty products

I'm not wearing make up in lockdown so maybe some indulgent skincare like ESPA or Elemis

A new leather filofax

Otherwise I'd buy a nice coat or boots as PP said

Some nice bedding

I got a few for Christmas and bought a new phone that was out of my budget. Admittedly I have changed jobs and this will mean I will be able to work much more easier on the road than with what work provided (checked and it is ok with them).

Otherwise I would look at boots/shoes/ investment pieces for my wardrobe like qell tailored black trousers etc. (If I knew where to get them).

That is a lovely present. I would get new boots or perfume.
