What are ‘treat’ things people buy themselves?

It’s just been my birthday and am fortunate enough to have been given a gift card to be used in a number of places (most high street places online included). I have around £120 to spend.

Can I ask what indulgent things people like to buy for themselves as a treat to get an idea of what to buy?

PS I hope I am not coming off as insensitive as I know people are having money worries right now. I’m sorry if I offend anyone with this thread. This is a huge chunk of money for me, so even more reason I am struggling to think of ways to spend it. The gift card was bought for me with the intentions of me treating myself as it was a ‘big’ birthday, so I really don’t just want to fritter it away on the food shop, bills etc, as my parents will ask me what I chose to buy with it

I got a few for Christmas and bought a new phone that was out of my budget. Admittedly I have changed jobs and this will mean I will be able to work much more easier on the road than with what work provided (checked and it is ok with them).

Otherwise I would look at boots/shoes/ investment pieces for my wardrobe like qell tailored black trousers etc. (If I knew where to get them).

I'm not wearing make up in lockdown so maybe some indulgent skincare like ESPA or Elemis

A new leather filofax

Otherwise I'd buy a nice coat or boots as PP said

Wow you are all fab! I’m coming up with a list of things from what you’ve all suggested. I’ve decided I would like (and reckon my parents would see as a treat) to have a number of things rather than one big splurge. Though tbf I do like the sound of hiring a hot tub! Might do that for DH bday in a month or so, so thanks for that idea. Also the velvetiser looks amazing I agree, but I do already have a coffee machine as it was my ‘giving birth’ present (ludicrous idea to gift for that - but I of course accepted!)
So far I am thinking and researching:

Posh chocs, set of silver earrings, some fancy hair care, some posh coffee and syrups and, if I can stretch to it, cashmere socks!

I'd spend the money on one of those expensive indoor herb gardens. I managed to kill off most of my herbs over the winter and am really missing having fresh herbs for cooking and cocktails!

Other than that, some really warm cashmere gloves and a really warm hat. It's going to be a miserable winter.

You probably have this already, but hot drink holder for the side of the buggy? And nice leak-proof thermos/travel mug.

Oh I love receiving vouchers! Things I've bought recently with vouchers include candles, a beautiful urban decay makeup palette, perfume, books and a jumper. Skincare products are a great idea too

a hotel chocolat Velvetiser. You can use it to make hot chocolate or lattes, a friend got one for christmas and it looks amazing

I'd buy either an investment piece or things that make your every day better.

Things I've bought that I love are a le creuset dish that I use so so often. coffee machine, gorgeous candles, cashmere jumpers or jewellery.

There are Fantastic sales on at Missoma and Monica vinader right now - you’ll get something lovely for that budget.
Otherwise- a bottle of nice spirits (ketel one botanicals vodka in peach and orange blossom is my favourite) plus lovely antique glass to enjoy your tipple with forever after.

A weighted blanket. A month of Hello Fresh or similar so I don't have to cook so much! An "investment item" like great coat/shoes/handbag to add a real touch of sophistication to an outfit!
